Wonder why 'tis that business hrs some places don't seem to be as advertised? Reckon if they start at 8 AM, one needs to ring up by 8:01 or 8:02. Also slightly resent needing to make landline, with no e-drs available. But this is a specialty query, & once I actually speak to someone,. we'll have the info. Unless duty agent is a newfer & doesn't have more than a quarter of a clue.

This morning, Samson was very much all over his job of waking me up for work. His food dish wasn't even empty. He got all the girls involved, even Miss Lola got into it.

It's just the normal ebb and flow of caturday. The weather is getting warmer and there's more stuff to do outside.
I've got a few projects waiting in the wings.

The cat kind of came with the house when they bought it, and she's allergic to kitties else they'd keep her inside. But they're feeding her and whatnot and making sure the babies are being taken care of :) I will definitely suggest spay/neutering when the time comes!

Excellent idea! Those are adorable babies! You can tell her about my experience with my feral momma cat that took 2 1/2 years and 19 babies to catch her and finally get her spayed. That should be enough to scare anyone into getting their cat spayed.

I dunno. Even in late spring/summer/early fall months of the last few years I don't remember so many Caturdays dipping below 1K.

Very light this week, but I expect some are doing the Spring Break thng..as in, It is Spring, time to break out the mower, trowel, plants......Some just travelling and then submitting (Dorothy) to the usual Mordor ills. I am being a lazy kitteh and sitting with a glass of vino and sharing caturday with my Mom....

I think I have to add myself to the Caturday BooBoo club. I hurt my index finger about 6 months ago, when I fell off a horse..That was the Tailbone nasties..then I jammed it on trail controlling my idiot horse. Now, the middle joint of that finger is leaning off the the east...as in visibly deformed. And the joint hurts if you touch it...waah! Going to have to see a doc..dammit! I am such a wimp!

I've always been partial to old fashion human names and somewhere back in my pea brain I remember reading somewhere that dogs respond best to names with two syllables.

Suzy came with a perfect name. Suzy Q with her little curly Q tail.

How about something like Sheila or Gina or Katie?

So I got home from work and there was still hours of daylight left. I went out to see the horses and found that they had run into a cross fence, broke the wire and bent two tee post almost to the ground. I have no idea who hit the fence as both of them are fine and there is not a mark on either of them. I fixed that mess, and fenced around the grape vines. It was near dark when I got in to feed the kitties. How hungry was I if the gooshy food smelled good to me? It was some kind of roast beef and gravy. I made myself some pea soup and toast. I think my animals eat better than I do.

I brought in part of the mimosa tree that died in last years drought. Tom was clawing the furniture and I thought he might like to claw the trunk. He loves that tree part, I heard him on it and turned just in time to get this blurry picture. He was almost to the ceiling and was on his way back down when I caught him.
/So far I have not impaled myself on the branch
