Who the hell cares - it's gardening. Cops and courts wasting time and effort that should be put to use solving real crimes with real victims. Gardening is not a crime in a freedom-loving country.

If the Founding Fathers (many of whom grew herb themselves) had been told by a psychic that the future of the great country they were creating was this, they would have demanded their money back.

Re-legalize (growing pot wasn't a crime for the first two million years of human history), end the drug war, and stop the insanity, once and for all.

Did you know in olden times here in the UK it was illegal to NOT grow hemp if you farmed more than 2 acres. It had so many uses from sails to rope to clothes to animal feed to medicine etc etc etc that it was a crime if you didn`t have it growing on your land.

Isn`t it good society has advanced to the stage we are at now.

Yeah but you take those plants, and you use them as the foundation for more plants, and then more plants and then holy shiat, they meant trillions! Gentlemen, we've just solved the deficit problem.

that is like LSD where the weight of the drug and the medium containing it (often water) are weighed leading to the silly extension of logic where if you were sitting on lake erie with a single drop of acid and the po-po saw you drop it in and could prove it was LSD then the entire weight of lake erie would be classed as LSD and could be confiscated and destroyed...

csb/ Our new shop is in a remote, rural area. Due to the work that we do, it is exceedingly well lit inside. Our electrician recommended that we only install about 1/3 of the lights before we had the final inspection. Otherwise, we'd have a lot of LEOs poking around the place in years to come.

I wonder if the new LED grow lamps will throw off the cops game, since they are low power consumption, and don't get THAT hot.

probably not if it`s stable usage, from reports I have heard they look for patterns like one month low and 2 months high repeating over a year or two. All it would take is one LEO, half an hour and some back of the beermat maths to show all the power being used with the visible lighting.

dready zim: If those plants are representative then he probably would yield between 1/4 and 1/2 an ounce each. Due to the roots I would say they were full plants, not branches. 800 plants would give a total yield of 200-400 ounces. I checked prices at thepriceofweed.com and it says £200-$400 per oz

TFA reckons the price is between $5000-$10000 per ounce if the yield is right. Does that seem right to everyone else? They reckon $2500 per plant, anyone know how much weed that would be over in the USA?

My maths says a crop of 200-400 oz at $200-$400 would be between $40,000 and $160,000 or 2-8% of the value given in TFA

That's why they call it "cop math"
