But you see, you think they drop like rocks, they don't. He hit a gargoyle on the way down and this guy gets his head caught in the gargoyle's mouth. The head...(snaps fingers) ...pops off like a grape. The body continues to spin down like a whirl-a-gig. When they hit, everything pops out. It's like a piñata The intestines, like they're spring-loaded, pop out.

On his way back into the bar, Miller lost his footing and fell backwards ... smacking the back of his head on the hard floor.

People at the scene rushed to his aid and called 911. Miller was transported to a nearby hospital ... where he was treated in the E.R. before being transferred to the intensive care unit.

We're told ... doctors have told Miller's family the actor is expected to make a full recovery, but they want to keep him in the ICU for a couple of days for observation.

Possible brain swelling from a large knock to the head. Make sure it goes down, release. Seems like he'll be with us for awhile. Which is cool. We're losing too many "Oh, THAT guy!" actors these days.

My thought process upon seeing the headline"
1) A character actor... probably someone from that Vanity Fair spread last month.
2) Larry Miller should have been in that,
3) Don't be Larry Miller.
4) *CLICK* "NOOOO!"

"Remember: If you walked out of bed today, and you had a job to go to and a home to come back to and someone waiting there that cares for you... Folks, the game's over, and you've won... and that's the truest thing I know." - Larry Miller.

His couple turns in the original law and order are my favorite episodes of that series. He owns a comedy club and keeps murdering his wives for insurance. Larry is a very funny man. His podcast is not so great though. I consider myself a pretty deep listener of podcasts as most of what I listen to is podcasts (The smartest man in the world is pretty good as well as UYD).

The problem (I assume here) is that one too many had allowed old Lar to fall and hurt himself. We have all been there...

Always loved that bit and he did one about aging that's equally funny. I've never found a decent copy of it on the net though. The only one I've found looks like he's at a business luncheon and it's not as good as the original.
