Um, why wouldn't your campaign follow the public comments of your opponent's family members? I mean, publishing them would be creepy and uncalled for, but I would think being aware of them would be basic due diligence for campaign staff.

This would have been the smart point for the opponent to make. Being Nebraska and a Republican primary, he could have family values-ed the shiat out of his opponent who lets his innocent, young daughter consort with all of the child predators and sinners on the Internets, and also the Googles.
