Is this our George Zimmerman thread for the day? OK, cool.

There's still no evidence that he committed a crime.

I've lost a lot of respect for NBC for trying to stoke the racial fire just for ratings sake.

FOX I could see but I always thought NBC had a tad more integrity than FOXNews.

Wasn't it also NBC that tried to take Limbaugh to task for 'Magic Negro' song? They let it play right up until juuuust the right second... Then cut it off, so you never heard the part of the song that told you the LA Times is where the phrase came from.

Fox news lack of ethics is merely a meme.

NBC's lack of ethics is now a proven fact.

TEAM ZIMMERMAN! I'm going to stick it to Al Sharpton by working myself into an entirely predictable rage over his comments. Take that, RACE PIMP. I will be predictable and take the opposite position of you... whatever that is!

All my friends who are Fox News zombies are currently all doubleplus mad over the editing too. The Fox network sure gets bellyfeel out of its viewers. Some scary Big Brother shiat if you ask me

Integrity and ratings-based news shows seem to be the antithesis of one another. See how long words could be killing your children. More at eleven.

To be honest, I am not surprised. Hell, I'm not even disgusted anymore. The mainstream media outlets produce nothing but inaccurate drivel that is spun the way their corporate owners tell them to spin it. Even NPR is dumbing down it's content to appeal to droolers.

Brother_Mouzone: I despise Fox News as much as anyone, but I was truly shocked at what NBC did.

I'm not NBC has done this before, the biggest apology was the GM exploding truck segment.

General Motors v. NBC

Dateline NBC aired an investigative report on Tuesday, November 17, 1992, titled "Waiting to Explode". The 60 minute program was about General Motors pickup trucks allegedly exploding upon impact during accidents due to the poor design of fuel tanks. Dateline's film showed a sample of a low speed accident with the fuel tank exploding. In reality, Dateline NBC producers had rigged the truck's fuel tank with remotely controlled model rocket engines to initiate the explosion. The program did not disclose the fact that the accident was staged. GM investigators studied the film, and discovered that smoke actually came out of the fuel tank six frames before impact. GM subsequently filed an anti-defamation/libel lawsuit against NBC after conducting an extensive investigation. On Monday, February 8, 1993, GM conducted a highly publicized point-by-point rebuttal in the Product Exhibit Hall of the General Motors Building in Detroit that lasted nearly two hours after announcing the lawsuit.[6] The lawsuit was settled the same week by NBC, and Jane Pauley read a 3 minute 30 second on-air apology to viewers.

Remember kids, Fox News viewers are wrong about facts more than 50% of the time, so you can pretty safely assume the opposite of what they say is true.

This is actually a pretty big deal. NBC is stirring people into a mob mentality against this guy. He is now probably going to get arrested just because people all the way up to the President WANT him to be arrested, damned if he is innocent. This guy is getting thrown under the bus and anyone that points this out is automatically a racist.

The guy had blood on the back of his head which he could not have given to himself. He was being attacked. He shot because he was being attacked. End of story. Anything leading up the that is irrelevant. Now I will say the guy is a moron for disobeying dispatch and continuing to follow a guy he viewed as a threat, but if he was being attacked he has every right to defend himself.

That's awesome....NBC edits tape to make Zimmerman sound racist and all the DIMs come out and blame Fox News. You got to hand it to them - they are consistent.....dumb but consistent.

There aren't too many easier ways to be right 99% of the time. The time to get angry is when Sharpton agrees with you. That means you have been wrong the whole time.

Yes, let's not forget those either. Did Fox ever retract what Garrett said? By your links, I note that CNN retracted the Tailwind report, the Times came clean after Jayson Blair resigned, and CBS fired four people over the Bush guard story.

Don't you understand? they are smarter and more enlightened than you. I bet, they can align the planets, if they wanted to. Just as soon as they are done protesting big banks, big oil, big pharma. They barely have enough time to ask mom and dad for money as it is. I mean, if it wasn't for the pot dealer delivering, they wouldn't have any time at all.

No surprise from the network that rigged the Chevy truck gas tanks with igniters so they could demonstrate how easily they assploded in a crash. If there isn't news, make it.

Why did the area around the marks on his head look shaved?
Why are there no bandages on his head? Scalp wounds bleed like a biatch..
Why does it look so healed only 34 minutes after the police arrived on the scene?
Why did the police call off the ambulance that was coming to provide care for Zimmerman at the scene?
Why was he not under observation for brain injury after the incident?

The fact that he shot an unarmed teenager should at least warrant an arrest.

I completely agree that he should have his day in court. I just want 1 question answered:

Why did he chase the kid when he was specifically told not to?

I'll check back later, after all the Fox News haters humbly post their messages agreeing that NBC, dear leader/child king obama's personal propaganda news organization, black washed yet another story. That probably won't happen because in the looney left world, it's never wrong if a dem does it.

Suck It LIBS!

NO YOU IDIOT LIB HE WASN'T LEGALLY TOLD NOT TO

He was simply told not to.

There's a difference.

Didn't the 911 operator say "you don't have to do that" when Zimmerman said he was following the kid? That's not quite telling him not to. Or was there something else? I'm not following the story closely.

What is at issue is not that journalistic errors, even huge ones, aren't made. The issue is that there are links showing CNN, the NY Times, and CBS acknowledging the wrongdoing of people in their employ. That is something you will never, ever see from FOX News. Christ, the executive team at FOX's parent company condoned the hacking of cell phones. Do you really think the workd 'retraction' is in their vocabulary?

How is that "not quite" telling him not to, exactly? In what world would a reasonable person not take that to mean not to follow the kid?

The problem is, George Zimmerman was not a reasonable person.

I partially agree,,,,but from the stories I have read we wasn't chasing but following and when he told the 911 operator and they told him not to follow he turned around and went back to his car and the shooting took place there. Not sure if this is what actually happened but that is what I read.

FOX News Channel would never do something like this.

Like crop photos and use pics from other demonstrations to inflate the numbers for the Tea Party protests that they essentially sponsored.
