I can't be the only one that thought Puyol looked like he was checking Nesta (before Busquets the flop went down) on that second penalty. Right? I won't deny he had Busquets' shirt, but Puyol going into Nesta with his shoulder counts too doesn't it?

I really farking hate this match...The theatrics are amazing.

Barca falling as soon as possible, makes Andy Carroll look legit.

Umm, Puyol plays for Barca. And calling a Barca player as well would have negated the sole reason for the call (to get Barca back up).

Ah yes, how silly of me to think the ref would be fair. Not sure what I was thinking.

Between the ref and the fox soccer commentators I'm having a tough time watching. They can't help but praise Barca for every single thing they do.

And that's 3 for Barca. If this game ends 5-1 will anyone care about the penalty?

Barca haters

Every commentator I see online has said the penalties were legit.

Barca has more goals than Milan has shots. I think they deserve the lead.

I'm watching the game live (720p, not web stream)... The ref seems to be letting a lot of stuff slide that he's calling for Milan.

/don't have a dog in this fight

They deserve a 2-1 lead, not 3-1. If you're going to call Nesta for holding the shirt, when the ball doesn't even come to them, then you need to call the check as well. Two things which would cancel out. Especially when the player that went down, Busquets, is known for diving.

As for shots, if you can't put it in, then you don't deserve to win. If the other defense is keeping you out, then that means you don't deserve it.

Barça is just extremely tactical and runs circles their opponents who commit penalties.
they do complain when they are touched, but in most cases they are correct.

Thought about taking Milan +1000 but settled for 1.5 at +115. Looks like that will lose, too,

People just always complain that Barca gets the calls. Why? Because they always have the ball. When you have the ball and move it around a lot, you're going to get fouled a lot.

Not to mention, nobody has the skill to play with Barca, so the tactic is to be physical with the smaller team. When you try to be physical with a small team, you run the risk of fouls.

To be fair, the ref has really tightened up to apply uniform rules over the past 35 minutes.... Like night and day compared to first half.

Way to ignore what I actually said. If you want to say it's because Milan are being more physical I still call bull. From both my experience and having watched games, smaller players tend to dive more often, Messi being one of the exceptions off the top of my head. I have great respect for him because he doesn't, but a few others on the team are known for diving for a reason and it's not because other teams are more physical.

I hate diving in general and I get pissed off when I see it. I've seen the diving of Barcelona (today and other days.) I've seen Ibrahimovic do it. I hate it no matter who does it.. It hurts the image of football to have the players fall down at the slightest touch sometimes.

I just want a solid feed so I can make up my own mind about who's diving and who's faking. Plus every damn time someone's about to take a shot it goes all Sopranos series finale on me.

Bayern Munich can knock out Real Madrid. It'll be tough, but the team can do it. I'm really hoping Schweinsteiger is healthy for that match.

Puyol's a farking thug who should have been ejected from the World Cup final for wrapping himself around Robben like he was a belt when Robben was about to go 1 on 1 with Casillas.

^Haha, yeah.

The one time Robben has a reason to go down during the entire tourny and he decides to stay on his feet.

Also, Real scored some sick goals today.

I KNOW RIGHT? Guy's a serial diver, and the one time he decides to stay on his feet... he should have fallen and it was a legit foul. I gotta say, watching Barcelona - Messi was pretty boring through all the tournament. But then, after the Paraguay match, you knew it was a done deal.
