Proud of 271? I'd bet more than 271 illegal alien mothers had anchor babies today.

It's a bit rough, but I think the self deportation ideas might actually be effective. You could never root out a million illegals using the justice system, but you might make it enough of a pain in the ass that they leave on their own.

It's so funny to watch people in America preach and hand-wring over the idea of enforcing their immigration laws. I've been living in Japan legally for the past four years, but I would bet if my visa expired on Wednesday the police would be knocking on my door Thursday morning.

glad you find it humorous. it find it appalling. the illegals in America are another strong indicator of how little our government gives a damn about the every day tax paying wage slaves that were born here.
many countries are like your host, Japan. they take care of their own, making sure those that came first are served first.
since our corporate government is happy to make money in emerging lands those in mansions could care less that this country is eroding into a third world shiathole.
i hope i live long enough to see it all burn.

dont have a problem with this, just wish they wouldnt stop at the ones that break laws while they illegally occupy this country. deport all that are here illegally. with great prejudice. no tolerance. and then severly limit welfare for able bodied individuals. perhaps they could harvest the fruit and mow the lawns. maybe they could roof as well instead of sitting around waiting for thier checks. perhaps if some actually had to work for thier money, they would have more respect for those that already do.

All I'm saying is if the borders are open, say so. Put up some billboards saying "Bienvenidos" and take the "I" part out of ICE's name. If the borders aren't open and there's an immigration problem, shut this crap down. This is another example of everything being illegal in America all the time so whenever the PTB want to fark with you they're already covered.

I don't even want to test it. I suspect Japanese prison is not to be farked with, even if you're just awaiting deportation.

I think our current Justice Department would probably sue any state whose police dared anything so mean-spirited.

They nailed some alien arrests? That's nice, but they should be catching aliens instead, don't you think? Nailing the arrests somewhere won't do anyone any good unless they see them.

In Orlando, six of the 29 people picked up were convicted sex offenders

Illegals that are sex offenders? But they're just here to provide for their families. Don't deport them!

Is that how I do it libs?

Every year immigrants, particularly illegals, remit billions of dollars to their home countries, removing that money from the local economy. It's easy to see which residents of these Third World countries have relatives in the USA, just look for the largest houses with the most vehicles in peasant villages and slums around the globe.

I'd like to see heftier taxes on wiring money internationally and instead, return that would-be vanished money to city governments.

Also focus on cracking down on informal money transfers to Latin America the same way money flowing from immigrant communities in the US back to the Middle East and South Asia through traditional, non-bank networks is under increased surveillance.

There would be the benefit of keeping a few more dollars in the US and maybe even encouraging immigrants to spend their money locally for a higher quality of life more in step with the typical American working class rather than living packed into overcrowded, tenement-style living in order to take jobs at low wages.

It's saddening how true this is.

However progress is being made. At least now there is no longer any "racist" card to be played in the immigration debate, since everyone now agrees that hispanics are no longer "brown people", and are in fact white.
