It took you longer to read this post than it took for Daniel Bryan to lose the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 28.

FirstNationalBastard: Spicy_McHaggus: Im the biggest Sheamus fan there is. I lived in Ireland before I watched wrestling in the same town that Sheamus is from. I took my kids to their first ever wrestling match at The Royal Rumble in St Louis and got to see the big man win it all in person. We threw a mini family party for Wrestlemania tonight decked out in our great white tshirts.

He won

I feel cheated.

Fark you Vince. Hurry up and die already.

The Magic of Vince... he can make you hate seeing your favorite wrestler become World Heavyweight Champion.

Makes me pissed having to feel pissed at Sheamus winning, because I do like the guy. He's a decent worker, he has a really appealing goofy kind of face charisma. It's just impossible not to slap a "Triple H Workout Buddy Program in action" label on the guy when he keeps finding himself in these situations, lol.

I feel ya. I hate Triple H so I hate that it even plays a factor.

BTW, I found his workout regime online and tried it once. Dude does some brutal lower body stuff. Im in pretty good shape and active athletically, but damn.

FirstNationalBastard: The Magic of Vince...

Gotta "love" the dichotomy of Vince. He can do some really good, sometimes even brilliant stuff. And then he pulls that shiat that he does, because Goddamnit, he's Vince Farking McMahon, and you should be thankful for that shiat he just took on your face, because by God, it's Vince's feces.

I thought this was a pretty solid WrestleMania. You knew what the piss break was gonna be, that Punk and Jericho would be deliver. I hindsight I should've known Rock was going over. WrestleMania always sends 'em home happy. Pleasantly surprised at Cole being dialed back, great to see JR. But, yeah. An 18 second squash for the WHC. What in the holy living fark was that?

One thing I definitely hated (well, beside the 18 second squash I don't think anyone will ever stop biatching about) was that there was at least 25 minutes wasted between the end of Jericho/Punk and the beginning of Rock and Cena on Brodus and two rappers no one gave a damn about.

That time could have been used for an actual WHC Match (all of five minutes!) and another match. Hell, they could have still done Brodus's Dancing Mamas calling 1-900-909-9900 entrance and given him a 5 minute match, too, if they had just cut the useless mini-concert that was more at home on a WCW show, circa 2000, than at Wrestlefarkingmania.

2012-04-02 03:23:39 AM
And the other thing... Most of the wrestling on the show was decent. The entertainment-ee stuff, not so much. But like I said in another thread, Vince is in denial over owning a wrestling company, or at least an entertainment company that's centered around wrestling.

does he know it's still called "WrestleMania?"

I am stealing Wrestlemania because instead of a tag title defense we're getting a Divas Match, probably an hour and a half worth of not-wrestling-but-talking and a "Don't forget about these other 20 guys on the roster" clusterfark. I don't believe that you will provide me with $55 of entertainment.

Instead I will buy a CM Punk best in the world T-shirt, because he is the only reason I have any interest in your product at all right now.

If you job him tonight I will probably only pretend to watch while I complain about your product in the weekly Fark and Reddit threads.
I'm a farking thief. Don't trust me around your mothers pocketbook, either, dumbass.

Do you have Comcast? We just got it about the show a month ago at house #2 in New Bedford. I think it is on HDNet? It is an annoying show so I'll tape it and watch it at a later date.

Sobered up and tried to rewatch this WrestleMania. It is just as awful as it was last night. Man I wish Kong was there. And not like they would get over in anything but a dark match, but I wish Epico and Primo defended the titles on air.

I don't think so. He lives somewhere in the Northeast, which is why his comedy shows are generally in or close to the area. He drives to most of them.

And Eve cost Zack.

What does all this say about what Vince thinks of women.

Voters of Connecticut, what does it say about a certain candidate for political office that her husband displays such blatant misogyny on worldwide television?

I can think of exactly one woman in the history of the WWE who never had to get on her knees and bark like a dog, didn't wear skimpy outfits with her breasts hanging out, didn't turn heel on her man and become a raging slut, never had amnesia or some other sudden mental illness, never wrestled in a lingerie or mud match, or ever participated in some angle that insulted every woman who watched it.

Her name was Elizabeth.

To see me, or not to see me, that is the question:
Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer
The Shoulder blocks of outrageous Fortune,
Or to rise Above against a Sea of hate,
And by opposing end them: to job, to sell
No more; and by a sell, to say we end
The Super-Cena, and the thousand Shoulder blocks
That Flesh is heir to? 'Tis a Cenation
Devoutly to be wished. To bury to no-sell,
To no-sell, perchance to Super-Cena; Ay, there's the rub,
For in that no-sell of main events, what squashes may come,
When we have shuffled off these five knuckles,
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That makes Hustle of so long loyalty:
For who would bear the chants of "Cena Sucks",
The McMahon's wrong, the proud man's Booking,
The pangs of despised Heat, the Troops' delay,
The insolence of Raw, and the Swerves
That patient merit of the unworthy pushes,
When he himself might his Heel-turn make
With a Rock Bottom? Who would WWE bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after jobbing,
The undiscovered Superstars, from whose bourn
No Sports entertainer returns, Puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have,
Than fly to others that we know not of.
Thus Boots to Asses does make Fruity Pebbles of us all,
And thus the Doctor of Thuganomics
Is sicklied o'er, with the pale cast of Smarks,
And enterprises of great Wrestlemania moment,
With this regard their Chants turn awry,
And lose the name of Cenation. Soft you now,
The fair Zack Ryder? Broski, in thy Twitters
Be all my sins remembered.

Read the threads often, never post (until now).

News from the front:

-There was a push in Miami this weekend for WWE to begin pushing some of the younger talents on the Road to WrestleMania 29 in 2013.

There was also a suggestion that they dont squash DB.

- There was heat on The Rock among some of the Legends and talents in Miami this week for not attending the Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday night. No word yet on why he didn't attend.

I thought that was odd myself.

- WWE officials are reportedly planning a lengthy World Heavyweight Title run for Sheamus.

What heels do they have lined up on SD!

I seriously don't get all the love this show is getting. The only matches that were worth a damn were HHH/Taker and Punk/Jericho, it was filled with lame "comedy" bullshiat, and the world heavyweight title match was 18 seconds long. Seriously, what is with you people ranking it so highly?

I honestly think the $2 DGUSA show I watched on Friday was more entertaining than this.

Don't worry, tonight we found out the big announcment...Brock Lesnar v. John Cena at WM 29, to cue up another year long promotion, b/c last year's went SO well in the eyes of @WWE_Creative.

And as for the Vinnie Mac/DBD story, I believe it. He was pissed at us for calling Jericho to win the Rumble, so he changed that on the fly, and I'm sure his fWc lurker told him about our comments on the thread, and that's when he decided (while oiling up some 8 foot tall Gold's Gym guy) to screw over DBD at Wrestlemania.

We'll read today and the next few days about some on the fly changes for last night's show, probably the most prevalent one will be that Cena was going to originally win. I wonder, if Brock/Cena will main event WM29, what does that do for Cena who will become the main event jobber for three years straight?

I really dont get why they are announcing the main event for WM two years in a row. Wouldnt Brock coming out at the Rumble and farking over Cena in some capacity do more for a story than a drawn out build up? Especially with Rock winning this year.

I think this is a much better idea, although they have to do something with Brock now, cause he's already signed the contract. Can't have him just sit around for 9 months.

Announcing the main event for WM a year outside the event KILLS any potential story they may have during the year. This would have been an epic conclusion to Summer of Punk. But nooooooooooooooooooo.
