Fistfights will break out over the pronunciation. "ohh-MAJJ", "AHH-medge" or "HOME-edge".

They should have called it Jarhead Ale and be done with it.

This cool, as doing nice things for fallen soldiers is always a good thing, but as this is about to turn into a Fark beer thread, let me get this out there: The "Craft Beer Movement" is either in the process of or has completely jumped the shark. It's just annoying now.

I get upset when I see 55% ABV "beer". There's nothing crafty about freezing.

I'm definitely in the ohh-MAJJ group. I like the haughtiness of it in contrast of it being beer for Marines.

You know when they do the barf bag tribute to all of the "service men and women" at every concert, public event, etc.? How about they change it to--"Now we want to give a tribute to all the men and women who paid through the nose for our fighting force to be the biggest in the world. That's right!! All tax payers stand up and give yourselves a hand. Because without you, we wouldn't have a military. Without your financial sacrifice we couldn't keep this excessive expenditure going!! Woohoo!!~! Good job and god bless mr. and mrs. taxpayer!! You are the first and foremost person we'd like to thank!! Que "God Bless America" the song... And secondly, we'd like to thank the meat heads who carried out the killing orders you paid for!! The men and women of the fighting forces!! Whoo Hooo--Go America and Go Jesus!!"

Ah hell, why not go big time. 1$ a bottle/pint of homage beer to a scholarship fund for any fallen soldier's kids. I'd probably not be the only guy likely to but it. Partner with one of the monster brewers and have it made nationally as a craft beer.

As long as people who enjoy killing people are killing other people who enjoy killing people, then all the right people are being killed. Anything else is just masturbatory bullshiat.

How does creating a beer to honor people who died in a training accident make you a hero ?

If making a beer makes you a hero then Bend, Oregon is a holy ground for paladins.

Hey, Drew! Get these guys' address and order me a coupla cases.

While I'm on the subject, post their addy and a link so ther Farkers can do the same. I have a hunch I am not the only guy on this thread who just developed a humongous thirst.
