Test drive a Lambo

Art.

Fire a grenade launcher

Art.

Bulldoze things

Oh, you know this is art.

what if you want to fire a grenade launcher at a bulldozer while you are driving a Lambo?

ManateeGag: what if you want to fire a grenade launcher at a bulldozer while you are driving a Lambo?

I'd rather try to grenade the lambo while on a bulldozer. More challenging and more effect on target when you do hit it.

I see the Atomic Testing Museum was covered (I have a brick with my name on it in front of there), but another even cooler thing to do is take the public tour offered by the Dept of Energy of the Nevada Test Site. Very cool to go see all the stuff that is still out there in the desert from the days of blowing stuff up.

Already covered 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Would taking a endurance bike around Daytona 10 laps at speed count for #1?

/would not have made the field.

Not to mention the biatchin mountain bike riding in the area.

Blue Diamond Trails
Cowboy Trails
Bootleg Canyon

St. George, UT is only two hour drive with the likes of Goosberry mesa, Little Creek Mesa and much more.

Going to Las Vegas without a mountain bike is like going without a penis.

Yeah, the riding is that good.

Lame. Pandering to Boomers who have money and inferiority complexes.

There really is only one "cool" thing to do in Vegas: bed a cocktail waitress. And there's really only one way to go about doing that: start at the fanciest casino you can and whiff your way down until you succeed. If you're not proud, save yourself several fruitless hours and just start at Binion's or the El Cortez.

How much to drive a Lamborghini through The Springs Preserve while simultaneously shooting little animals with an AK-47? It's gotta be on the price list somewhere. I know I'm not the first to request this.

The Atomic Testing Museum is great. (but early '60s history is a personal fave). The Star Trek Experience (now closed) was fun.

keepitcherry: If you need a "what to do" article for Vegas YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.

I have a "what to do in Vegas" in my profile. It's for people who have been to Vegas before and really don't care to spend another long weekend in a crowded smoke-filled casino, contributing to Sheldon Adelson's "I backed the wrong guy" fund.

ABSOLUTELY

/local approved!

We got some great food here too.

Johnny McGuires in Town Square
I All of our awesome food trucks all over town

If you need cheap eats, theres this place called Chicken Now in the Outlet Malls South just before the strip becomes THE STRIP© that has those 100000 flavor coke machines and the best chicken and waffles for $9 you've ever had.

Even though it's a hike, the buffet at the M at the southern most point of Vegas before you hit desert includes unlimited beer...

Go see Absinthe. Never seen a show that had my face hurting from laughing so hard one minute and dropping my jaw in awe the next.

I'm slooooowly seeing all the shows out here. I finally saw Ka at the Mirage (bossman bought tix), and it was pretty damn good.

Weird, it editted out my listing for I Heart Burgers... don't use the less than 3 I guess...
It's fantastic and has a bar, also in Town Square and the Palazzo

Meh. I don't dig that place, it's slightly overpriced and their burgers, while not bad, aren't spectacularly great. When I worked on the Strip, we had a quest to find the best burger in town for under $15. Suprisingly, the Capital Grille at the Fashion Show Mall is a *very* good burger. Envy behind the Wynn had a great burger for a while until management changed. CheeseburgerCheeseburger at Planet Hollywood has a good... cheeseburger but you're paying the premium price for eating on the Strip.

When I'm off Strip, it's In'N'Out, 5 Guys or Smashburger.

Did you go to the Palazzo location or the Town Square one?

I looked online, the prices at Palazzo were way higher, and my experiences at the Town Square one have been excellent, plus fried pickles.

I am very happy about the 5 guys invasion, but In N Out is my default being a So Cal native. SmashBurger was way oversalted for my taste.

More fun

When you get back from Vegas put a brick on your mantle and tell everyone that it's a souvenir from the atomic testing site. And then argue with them when they try to convince you to get rid of it because it's radioactive.

The one at Town Square. Maybe I'm just picky about my burgers, but I Heart Burgers doesn't seem that great to me. The Mrs. likes their fried macaroni and cheese. The only place I like in that area is Texas de Brazil, but that's not a place you can afford to eat at all the time. Fortunately, when I'm down in that part of town, there is a 5 Guys, Weinerschnitzel and this New York pizza place that is pretty good all at the Outlet Mall.

I just ate at Smashburger on Lake Mead. It was pretty salty. I ate at the one on Ann last week (Sportsman's Warehouse opening) and didn't notice the saltiness, so maybe they have Bender working at the Lake Mead place (the salt level was 10% less than a lethal dose!)

The 5 Guys down the road from me here at R'lyeh has one of those 100000 flavor Coke machines, and it has Mello Yello. They kids there just need to work on how to cook fries for the proper length of time.

Yeah the one at the outlet mall has the coke machine and an awesome manager. He's on his people about the fries.

Go to Area 51, visit Rachel and enjoy the alien burger.

On the way back there is a gas station near alamo, pick up a case of beer and booze cruise it all the way back.

If you are like me it is probably one of the greatest experiences you could ever feel. No worries, 1000+ miles from your problems. Just you, (Your GF), a beer, and the open road.

Well, as long as they're paying to operate, I need to have a chat with my yard foreman, ask him where my check is.
