I'm a crossing guard. A couple weeks ago, an eagle attacked a pigeon about ten feet from my corner. Hit it once out of the air, then again on the ground before the pigeon hid under a car. Then it just waited on a nearby porch for it to come out.

The video is cute, even if her voice is annoying. The fox is really beautiful and the eagle is stunning.

I would have been sad to see that. Circle of life and all, but I don't want to see the carnage. I was walking my dog years ago and watched a crow swoop down and rip a snail right from it's shell. I screamed like a little girl. I'm not a vegetarian, I eat meat on a regular basis, but my irrational brain doesn't really recognize the steak as having been a cow and having a family, it comes from Ralph's and is shrink wrapped.

This why we can't let gays marry. These animals plan on having a big orgy!

I'm calling it ... fake.

Something about how the video seems to stretch and warp just before moving from one animal to another.

Nope. Chuck Testa.

The second cat doesn't give a shiat about the rarity of the situation. It's way too cold to be an attention whore.

OK, so it wasn't just me.

Thought I was having a flashback or something there for a minute.

that's image stabilization for you. not sure if it was her camera that did it or youtubes new "stabilize video" feature. look at her other videos, unlikely it's fake.

I'm amazed at how calm each animal is. This is what it must have been like on Noah's Ark, except with more rain and less snow.

My mom lost a cat to an eagle once when they lived down south on the penn.

Cat got snatched off of the porch, eagle got up about 50 feet in the air, then couldn't hold onto the spitting, scratching mass of fury. Dropped the cat into the Kenai river, flew in circles until the cat floated back up, then swooped back down and grabbed the body. Last anyone ever saw of it.

Goodbye, Kitty. You were a stupid cat anyway.

That fox would definitely be able to come inside if he/she wanted to. This was one of the coolest things I've seen in awhile. I love me some animals, and I lover me some ragtag animal groups getting together in perfect harmony.

The fox is super cute, the gross fingerprint-y door is not. That woman should invest in a gallon of paint.

Given that the cats could be a dinner for the eagle, I'd be freaking out. If you watch the video and wait until the "related" videos come up, there's like 3 or 4 more videos of the same porch with cats and eagles.

I got a little distracted by the picture of the former dancer from Pakistan who committed suicide. Her ex-husband threw acid on her while she slept.

I'm pretty sure that face is going to haunt my dreams.

Driving the on-ramp to 495 in Annandale, VA, I saw a hawk snatch a small rabbit, and it flew right in front of my windshield, the rabbit still struggling. A bit morbid, but it was one of the coolest things I ever saw.

I suppose feeding the Eagle is one way to get it to ignore the cats. Albeit, if she tossed a mouse in the middle the ensuing Battle Royale would be vicious.

SWEET eulogy for the cat!
That shiat made me giggle; calling out the poor bastard that became eagle food. I suppose it's a glorious and heroic way for stupid kitties to meet their stupid kitty maker.

So which version of British does subby speaK? Because 'A Eagle' must be pronounced A He-gull. It's the only way I can read that and not punch my monitor.

Hawks eat pigeons, doves, and squirrels by me all the time. I've been sitting outside and all of a sudden feathers start raining down. wtf? Look up and a hawk will be eating a dove or a pigeon.

Check out the follow up videos. Th eagles like to hang out. She goes up the porch stairs and the one eagle just sits there and screeches at her. Pretty farking cool. I hope she is smart enough not to be feeding them. Of course if I had eagles hanging out on my porch I would prolly thrown 'em something just for not eating the cats.

I would also bet that those animals have getting handouts. They have obviously become very accustomed to the woman's prescence. I would LOVE to have a fox for a pet. They're supposedly like having the best of both cats and dogs in one package. (from reading about the fox domestication program going on in Russia)

2012-03-30 08:59:27 AM
And then the fox hit the woman with that board with the nail and they all feasted mightily upon her carcass.

The fox is cute, but they smell like complete shiat. I'm talking skunk stench.

I love seeing birds of prey fishing and just flying around in general. They all look so gracious, especially bald eagles.
