I feel it should be said early... No, Fringe people, no one cares about your show that's going to be canceled. So go talk about it somewhere else.

Anyway... Bones probably has a couple years left. It's really all Fox has left as far as old shows go. Looks like it's time for Fox to start rebuilding their drama line-up.

Tried watching a couple episodes but the think just kept putting me to sleep.

Do they still have the magic holographic scanner thing?

Old enough to know better: Do they still have the magic holographic scanner thing?

Maybe in the latest episode it got fried by a computer virus etched on bone.

/WTF more technology fail, but I will still watch.

I enjoyed it for many seasons, even after it became syndicated on tv. But if this past season is any indication, it needs a quick, fiery death with House this year.

Fark you FNBastard. We'll talk about Fringe all we want.

Count me as a "yay"! This is the only show on network TV the wife and I watch together. I say together, because no amount of money will get me to watch anything Real Housewives of Whatever City.

BTW, it is a rare occurrence when they show Emily Deschanel's butt. Believe me, I've paid attention ever since I caught a quick glimpse of it in a Season 1 episode. After that "DAT ASS" moment, I didn't get another look until Season 6. It's quite a shame, really.

They could start by making Alcatraz better instead of canceling it, but that probably won't happen. And The Finder...I was SO looking forward to that show. It could have been a smart, funny look into a deeply troubled individual who finds things in unusual ways because he's so damaged. Instead, we got schmaltzy plot lines (Gypsy kids, really? REALLY?) and dumbed-down methods of finding things. It's not even a good show by typical mediocre detective procedural criteria. It just sucks. Plus, they got rid of the hot British chick and instead slapped in a federal marshal who only seems to exist to get around plot speedbumps the lazy writers can't think of solutions to.

I'm hearing good things about "Touch" but I'm not watching it until it gets renewed for a second season. You can't break my heart again, YOU HEAR ME FOX??!!!

David Boreanaz is gold, GOLD! for a series. He was in Buffy, and it ran for seven years, he spun off with Angel, and it ran for five. Any series he gets cast in runs for more than one hundred episodes.

So, that begs the question, what if they cast a series with David Boreanaz and Summer Glau? Would there powers cancel each other out? Or would it be either the shortest, or longest running series of all time?

Come on Joss, you could come up with something for them.

I'm hoping Alcatraz sticks around. Based on the last few episodes, it's got a lot of potential if it doesn't die this year.

It's because she has manjaw on a woman's neck. But depending on the photo, it really works for her.

Probably. :(

But Fox is running out of shows pretty rapidly. Terra Nova's gone, House is ending, and if Fringe and Alcatraz both go (which I think is likely), I think the only hour-longs they're left with are Bones and Glee. Maybe that new Kiefer Sutherland show.

I'm starting to think they're in a position where a few show with low ratings might sneak through because there isn't much else for them to air. I don't htink Fox ordered a ton of new drama pilots, and you can't fill an entire network schedule with half hour comedies and dancing/singing/cooking reality shows. Maybe shove Fringe and Alcatraz together on Friday nights and let them linger.

Fox has a terrible record with killing good shows. Firefly and Futurama are just the best known. Maybe they'll pull their heads out of their asses and revive some of the one's they canceled. Sure, Firefly is too old, but Chicago Code was pretty good, as was that last buddy cop show they had. The Good Guys I think. It was hilarious.

Lived on the same block as Boreanaz growing up. My parents remember him as a local child actor; sadly, I don't remember him at all, we moved when I was four.

How can Deschanel be so hot, with such a manjaw, and such terrible delivery? The mind and penis reel simultaneously, eventually settling on "Sort of Want."

Bones has an incredibly likable cast -- including three hot women -- but the writing is hit and miss at best.

The subplot when one of the scientists (can't remember his name) became the protege of a bad guy several seasons ago was among the worst WTF moments in TV history.

Well, when you've gotta cut 7 episodes from your shooting schedule because of a writers' strike, you're gonna get shiat like that.

Nobody watched Firefly. Nobody watched the movie.

It's like being upset when Bionic Woman or Knight Rider got canned. Sci-Fi shows are expensive. If nobody watches, nobody buys commercials. No commercials, the show doesn't get paid for. Then it gets cancelled.

Fox made up for it when they brought Dollhouse to air. Low low ratings, and then they gave it a second season which had the worst ratings ever seen on network television, alongside another sci-fi series that got a second season.

Between that and 4(!) seasons of middling ratings for Fringe, Fox doesn't owe anyone anything.

I am probably a horrible judge of television but that new show Touch is doomed if what I have seen so far is any indication. The Pilot just got me interested enough to watch another, I got about 15 minutes into that episode. Horrible. Though I have been into Bones up until this season, I didn't make it through the first episode of this season.

For the first few seasons they kinda dressed her more realistically, less styled hair and those big chunky necklaces that totally looked like what a female professor would wear. But then yeah, they decided to hot her up, and I wouldn't have actually minded if it had been mentioned in an episode that she'd hired a stylist or something for some blah blah making her life better thing.

They could've done it quite easily by having her publicist first recommend it to her for her TV appearances for one of her books and then she just kept it up.

Just some good old-fashioned TV logic. They could have used any reason.

I'm having a running argument with my wife about "Being Human" because I'm getting tired of seeing the ghost chick in the same drab sweater every week because ghosts have to wear what they died in for all eternity. I maintain that they could have a random ghost show up, say "you can look like anything you want, all you have to do is..." and bam! - she can change clothes. My wife maintains this would "ruin the rules of the afterlife," whatever the fark that means.

CHANGE YOUR GODDAMN CLOTHES, HOT GHOST CHICK!
