This right here. I expected to hear that he turned himself in after he'd already been through security. I accidentally left a package of bottle rockets in my backpack once on a flight, and I made it all the way home before I noticed, TSA sure as hell didn't. Meanwhile, the TSA agent dealing with my wife on her mid tour leave was shocked when, coming home from Afghanistan, she failed an explosive residue swab test. The supervisor had to be called to let her through.
