When will we get video of someone getting a beat-down from the Easter bunny?

You only get a warning if you agree to eat a Cadbury Creme Egg.

Nothing helps traffic safety more than a giant pink bunny holding a sign in the middle of the road.

Nothing like getting busted by the fuzz for not wearing a seat belt.

I want to see how these officers will hop into action, when needed.

Well, you could always have a bunny in a police suit

What the hell was the conversation like that turned to this brilliant idea?

"Our police force is the laughingstock of the country, and possibly the world. We need to do something that will garner us some legitimacy and respect...how about BUNNY COSTUMES!"

Illegal to drive a car without wearing a seat belt.
Legal to ride a motorcycle.

Makes sense.

Gotta love laws enacted to protect us from ourselves.

God what a total waste of time and resources.

Also: Adults should not have to suffer being treated like children when it comes to crap like this.

So glad real crime is so low cops have time to enforce the useless laws. Oh wait.

Adults should also have brains enough to put their farking seatbelt on when they get in a car. If they don't, then they deserve to be handed a ticket by a fluffy bunny.

I hear that in Florida, the Easter Bunny will go all postal and pop a cap in yo' ass if you are a brown kid in a hoodie and brandishing a bag of skittles. Don't fark with the Easter Bunny, bro.

I'm sure I'd shoot the bunny the finger and end up getting pulled over. I'm glad these dimwits didn't do this last week when I was there.

Nobody "deserves" that.

It's asinine, and an insult to anyone's intelligence.

The entire program should be shelved and the officers who volunteered for it should be cleaning toilets. For at least 3 months.

It got my attention, and I read the sign, which was probably their goal.

I'm all for live and let live. But when Driver A doesn't wear a seatbelt and dies in the accident and now Driver B has to deal with the aftermath of accidentally killing someone and being sued by Driver A's family, have the damn seatbelt law. I'm also okay if we replace it with this law "failure to wear a seatbelt means the other driver has complete immunity".

We also need "Helmet or Ticket". I swear I'm going to take out one of these idiots on a crotch-rocket in shorts and no helmet zipping through rush hour traffic like they are in an action movie.

True enough. But should the guberment require seat-belt use?

Wearing a seat belt "should be an involuntary response when you get in a vehicle.

Agreed. Also, when you're approaching a stop sign, stop. Don't treat it like a yield sign just because you don't see anyone coming and you're too important to be bothered by the little laws. Additionally, don't treat your daily commute like it's a farking competition. Personally, I think that sort of behavior can be traced to these sheep being raised on football and allowing it to carry over into their daily lives. Theoretically, the police could improve traffic safety if they found a way to get it through the thick skulls of televised sports worshipers that what they love and hold so dear is basically a bunch of grown men chasing a ball around...a children's game. But there's way too much money in sports for that to happen. It's used in the same way the religion is used..to keep the little people dumb and happy. And don't even get me started on fluoride in tap water.

I live in Oklahoma. We just passed a law that forbids the use of Sharia law. Which was badly needed as many judges in Oklahoma had burned their copy of the constitution and were using the Quran to decide cases. So, yeah, what the people want, they get.

Agreed. Seat belts no only save lives, they save all of us money. When someone is seriously injured in a serious auto accident, the cost of treating and rehabilitating him/her can exceed $5M per incident. All of us pay for this. It is irresponsible and childish not to wear a seat belt.

When I was first married, my new wife and I pledges on our wedding day that we would always wear seat belts. I think it took all of a week for it to become an automatic response to getting in the car. It just isn't a problem.

Yet we still allow people to ride motorcycles....

Hell, let's outlaw skydiving, swimming, boating, riding a 4 wheeler, and don't even get me started on walking! Do you have any idea the cost involved treating people that injure themselves walking?
