Macular Degenerate: Funny story: My parents took me to Disneyland in Anaheim in 1978 or so. I was fairly young at that time. We went on the haunted mansion ride and I was so scared out of my wits I buried my head into my father's side. He says to this day he still has a dent in his ribcage from my forehead.

I haven't thought about it in years, but I was absolutely mystified at the ghosts in your car in the mirror at the end of the ride. I still don't know how the fark they did that.

The paragraoh about Statler and Waldorf as Jacob andRobert Marley does't mention why the other Marley was called Robert. Did that joke go over the authors head or did he just not bother to mention it, it was one of the many subtle things that made me smile watching the Muppets Christmas Carol. The shop named Micklewhites was another.

I liked The 7th Guest a lot, but I also felt like the happy ending was horrible. It was one of the most shattering disappointments of my teenage years.
