Thank God they saved her. For a second I thought we were going to run out of Chinese people.

Exactly, Katniss. That way if you fall you are nearly eviscerated by the rope when it goes taut, and get to play piñata for the tribute districts.

My first though was that it's not often that someone is successful at chickening out halfway through suicide by jumping.

"This Chinese student didn't choose the smartest place to take a nap in the afternoon sun."

Anyone wanna guess her field of study?

I'm going with neurosurgery. She's TOTALLY going to work on people's brains some day.

I'm not afraid of heights. I'm afraid of widths.

We've all been there in class, head down taking a snooze when you have that feeling of falling, then you jolt awake. Sometimes, you really are falling.

I don't think I could be tired enough to sleep on a ledge.

Not very far from the ground to already be chilling on a portaledge....

OK, I'm not logging into the Sun on principle, but... "In an hour she'll feel like doing it again" deserves a 'like'...

I don't think she was either. I think she chickened out on a suicide attempt and they're painting it differently in the media.

This is probably bringing back painful memories for the family of Humpty Dumpty.... who I bet would have been put back together if there were a handful of Chinese people around.

Sure, like the "king's horses" are going to be any good at putting Humpty together. They haven't even got fingers. Probably just broke the pieces into smaller pieces with their hooves. Just a poorly thought out plan from the start.
