No reason the Patriots shouldn't be nice to the Jets. Without them, the Patriots wouldn't have any NY teams they could beat.

This is going to be such a fun circus to watch. Seriously, there's no possibility of this not being entertaining:

- Sanchez turns into Tom Brady: "What does this mean for Tebow's future?"
- Sanchez sucks horribly: "Is Tebow our savior?"
- Sanchez is kidnapped by religious zealots and held for ransom: "Should Tebow be included in the hostage negotiations?"
- Sanchez reveals himself to be the actual Son of God, Jesus, here to pass final judgment on mankind: "How does this affect his rivalry with Tebow?"

The over/under for a Sanchize full-on, Ryan Leaf-level breakdown, has to be what...Oct 1?

You think the Patriots are happy?
Not as happy as the Broncos.
And Elway can sleep in Sunday mornings now.

The Jets are going to collapse under all the Teblow hoopla.

Sanchez is pretty immature and has a rep for being a bit lazy. I cannot imagine anything worse for him than bringing in a hyper competitive guy who works harder than anyone in football and has a ridiculously devoted fan base. This is going to break Mark for good.

Blatant Onion Theft:

Tim Tebow Absolutely Horrified After First Phone Conversation With Rex Ryan

NEW YORK-Confusion, disgust, and terror were among the emotions new Jets quarterback Tim Tebow reported feeling after a 20-minute phone call with New York coach Rex Ryan. "Coach Ryan is a very...expressive person. Really descriptive. He can be a little vulgar, though," the visibly distraught Tebow told reporters while attempting to hold a glass of ice water steady enough to drink from it. "He told me what he wants the Jets to do next year. Then he told me I'd like New York, and why. Then he told me about, about the 'fun' we are all going to have together. That was most of the call. I have to go now. I have to call my parents. I have to be alone for a while." Coach Ryan said he enjoyed talking with Tebow, whom he described as "a nice, quiet kid with a good head for football who gasps a lot when you talk about poontang.

The thing is, they actually had one last year in Ochocinco, but because Ochocinco apparently couldn't digest a majority of the playbook and/or the basic intricacies of the offense, they just let him slink into the doghouse and somehow didn't realize that he could, you know, run 40+ yards in a straight line and beat the opposing team's 3rd corner and blow by the free safety that doesn't even bother to look Ocho's way since he's hell bent on bracketing Welker and/or Gronk.

Lloyd's legit when his head is screwed on straight, I'm just a little pessimistic on eeking all the value out of him (aside from a potential deep threat, he's also the best pure route runner outside of Welker on that team).

Well, except for the Bills, but I'm sure most people in NYC don't consider Buffalo to be part of the United States, much less NY State...

That too. But then that opens the door to the nitwits who don't understand the concept of metropolitan areas and the whole New Jersey Giants conversation, which is oh so boring. But yes, Buffalo might as well be on the moon.

I was amazed that Ocho was that unreachable because I'd heard him in interviews and he always expressed a great admiration for Belichick. It might just be that he's THAT stupid and the Patriots gave up on him.

Patriots like the pickup because after a crappy season with the Jets, the Pats will be able to pick up Tebow with a 6th round pick. Then Belichek will convert him to a RB/FB/LB/DE/TE/SS/PR/WR.

(Which is probably what he'd be doing for a living if he wasn't a 6' 7'' beast who apparently doesn't feel pain...)

Well it's your natural charm. It's hard not to be totally smitten with you. I remember the first time we spoke on Fark, a thread in which you were able to help me with my long-held misconceptions about the world of Advertising. Although I have a degree on the topic, you were most assertive of your self-efficacy on the subject and you convinced me that I should see things your way.

You might have been totally wrong that day, but you were believable. And that's all that matters, and it's why your profile pic is stapled above my bed, next to a picture of Joey from "Blossom".

From then on, I knew you were somebody I would truly cherish forever.
