I'm outraged. This is nearing the level of outrage I felt when the liberal media started making the false claim that Reagan actually increased our national debt.

There's a reason he's seen as a fiscal conservative icon, libtards.

Orgasmatron138: I really hate it when people use the word "tapped" instead of "selected" or "picked" or "chose." Unless you are sticking a spigot into the person and draining their fluids, I don't think it should apply.

They say that when Obama was considering who should be his VP, he had staff tackle Joe Biden at a Senate hearing, effectively turning him sideways and adding him to his candidate pool.

OK I'm back. One choice nugget-

This movie isn't about making money.

This movie is about the Director Lee Daniels spitting in the face of American Conservatives.

I am a bit surprised that he has found the funding to make a movie that is a guaranteeed stinker and money loser, but it's Hollywood, and they have money to burn.

Jane Fonde should star in the remake of "Hang Em High" and they should forget to cut her down , making it the shortest movie ever made. They could make a fortune at the box office.

Ask 'em how they feel about Reagan's actual treason (i.e., the Iran-Contra mess), and compare it to Fonda's imagined treason (i.e., her exercising her First Amendment rights in a socially disapproving way.)

So, this cancels out, right? Because, so far, she isn't "guilty" of anything but being stupid at a bad time. No charges, no crime, no trial, nada.

Reagan, on the other hand, dodged a criminal bullet because most of his administration jumped in front of it, and then Bush busily pardoned most of Reagan's meat shields once he was elected - lots of evidence, charges, crime, trial, and sentences for them.

No one spits wads of tobacco in Weinberger's face, though, because Weinberger didn't make people feel bad. So, Jane Fonda remains a "traitor" to the same folks sucking up to the "Reagan legacy." Baffling.

I don't care if she set the American flag on fire, pissed on it, and then gave Nikita Khrushchev a blowjob while taking a DP from Mao and Pol Pot; She was Barbarella, and she was hot.

I'm amazed at the number of people who can forgive the far greater crimes of their political heroes (Reagan, North, Limbaugh, Gingrich, Bush) but can't accept that 40 years is enough time for a woman to deserve forgiveness for something she did when she was young and naive.

I bet none of the jackholes who still rail against her can say they never did something completely bone-headed when they were young, and I'm SURE they wouldn't want to be judged today based on the people they were in 1969.

About 43 years ago. I'm 41, so I wasn't even born yet. That's long decades of butthurt because someone went a bit far in trying to end a war that shouldn't have happened.

Societal memory is a funny thing. John Wayne is remembered as some big bad ass super patriot, even though he was a draft dodger in WW2, making him an even bigger pussy than Reagan. Gotta wonder just how much shiat he took from his peers who did serve.

When I was living in Vietnam, I was so tempted to go to the military museum and take a picture of myself on top of an anti-aircraft gun. I decided that to do so would probably kill any hope I might have of ever running for president, so I contented myself with posing next to John McCain's flight suit flashing a piece sign.

The constitution was intentionally designed to be universally accessible. Anyone that takes the time to actually read it (so, no, Tea Party, not yours) is as entitled to their opinion as any random lawyer. And the argument that helping an enemy nation produce anti-US propaganda during a war constitutes material aid isn't exactly stretching it.

Jane was right, and that was not treason. It was "WTF is wrong with you?", right in your star spangled face.
