But things that happen there sure get more publicity. Not quite two years back, we had a local occurrence whereby cop shot minority minor, but apart from local investigations, nothing went viral. Evidently there was some grappling with the cop, cop pulled gun, kid got shot & killed in the ensuing struggle.

About a year ago, there was a traffic stop where a minority kid got sprayed or tased when he got shirty with the cops, and that resulted in a series of investigations, including the department, the state cops, the FBI, and then the proposal of a private investigation that would have cost the city $85K when those complaining weren't getting their complaint validated. The city council declined to pursue that one, and the other shoe (a civil suit for wrongful-something) hasn't developed yet.

Err, lots of people eat it. Usually they bake it into cookies or brownies or something rather than eating it straight from the bag, but eating it is quite common.

I've read arguments that eating it straight up doesn't work and that you have to get the cannibinoids to attach to some fat for your body to actually work with it. Then I have read that you can eat just raw plant material... so what's the deal?
