Still better than I should have done.

SilentStrider: everybody's beating my bracket this year.

The only chance I have left is for the Buckeyes to win it all, since I'm the only one who picked that. UNC and UK losing today would probably help too, even though I picked those as wins, because so did everyone else. If everyone farks up, I'm still in range. Plus half the brackets picked UK to win.

Eh, I've got almost the same thing except for Ohio State losing to KY in the final.

I'm not convinced this is his real bracket. Something looks fishy about the pixels and the font. I demand to see the long-form bracket.

Been living under a rock for the last year, have you? That could explain why you don't know the economy is rebounding AND Fartbong0's brackets trounced your own.

There is only one explanation for how Fartbongo's bracket is doing so well ...

When you pick the favorites, you're generally going to do pretty well. Last year he did very poorly for the same reason. The percentile is a little misleading as well. There are thousands of brackets that haven't scored any points, so either there are a lot of reverse geniuses out there or those brackets didn't get filled out or saved.

Well personally he should put more thought into the country than picking tournament picks, just sayin'.

Once the game are played today, his bracket will disappear into the night.

Actually, I'm doing better than Obama... I have 2 of the final four so far, and picked Kentucky and Kansas as the other 2...

Being a Missouri fan, I can totally believe this.

My co-worker has 45 correct in his yahoo bracket. the current overall leader has 48 correct.

He pulled off the Louisville/FLA pick and correctly has Louisville in the final four.

If he's right and it's them and Kansas for the championship, I'll shiat myself.

I'd like Obama to continue being right, all the way up to the National Champion he picked but I don't see Carolina playing next weekend with Marshall out today.

I've always wanted to live on the west coast just for the early start times. Not having to be up until midnight watching football or the NHL would be awesome. Waking up on Saturday for 9am college football games would be cool too.

Straight Chalk picks would only put you in the 71st percentile so far this year. Obama didn't make too many upset picks, but the ones he made were good.

I hope he's wrong about Louisville playing in the national championship. I'd never hear the end of it

the year I don't overpick Louisville they actually do something

2012-03-25 02:01:42 PM
Noticed how he picks teams with mostly black players to advance farthest. And one of the players on UNC is from a town called New Egypt, obviously part of a plot for a Muslim takeover.

2012-03-25 02:05:03 PM
Interesting. Obama and I have the exact same Final Four and final game projections. (I know, really going out on a limb projecting a Kentucky-UNC final. But we both had tOSU and Missouri as our other Final Four teams -- one successful, one a spectacular failure.) We didn't pick the same national champ, though.

FriarReb98: Threadjack time: Why do Louisville's uniforms look orange this year? It's kind of bugging me....

Adidas started promoting the new Adizero something or other during the conference tournaments, and Louisville, Cincy and Baylor started wearing them. They're all identical patterns with different colors schemes. Louisville's is called "infrared." Baylor's are called "can see from space" or "can't see while hunting." I guess Cincy's are called "watching from home."

Clearly this means he'll lose Ohio, because he disrespected the state by only correctly picking one of their four Sweet Sixteen teams.

CreamFilling: When you pick the favorites, you're generally going to do pretty well. Last year he did very poorly for the same reason. The percentile is a little misleading as well. The percentile is not misleading. There are well over 6 million brackets that have scored points. [hangs head in shame]

2012-03-25 08:43:17 PM
Yeah, pretty weak liberal conspiracy. He already lost his national champion. Meanwhile, my picks for the title game, Kentucky and Kansas, are both in the Final Four. I'm disappointed UVa got curbstomped by Florida, but all things considered, I'll be more than content having better picks than Obama.

2012-03-25 09:14:00 PM
In the Fark pool, I'm ranked 54th, and have 3 out of the 4 final four teams left... So theres that.

However, In my office pool, where I could actually win money, I have the 3rd worst out of 28. I don't have a single team left.

2012-03-25 09:22:28 PM
Fark you, UNC. I lost $168 because of you today.
UK was supposed to stomp your asses next week.

Guess I'll have to settle for #8.
My son's bracket should come in second.

I'm pretty sure that when a headline mentions Obama and a giant liberal conspiracy, a political comment is fair game.
