The first is by right of soil, meaning if you were born on US soil, and overseas military bases are considered US soil for the purposes of citizenship, you are a natural-born citizen. The second is by right of blood, meaning if you're born abroad to either a natural-born citizen mother, or two natural-born citizen parents, you are a natural-born citizen. The other is of course, going through the legal process of becoming a citizen, but as of right now, no naturalized people can become President.

You really have to love the internal contradictions you have to accept to be a full-blown birther, like the fact that most of them believe Bill and Hillary Clinton to be the incarnation of evil in modern politics, a ruthless couple who literally left a trail of bodies everywhere they went as they dispatched political enemies with an efficiency that would make Michael Corleone proud. Yet, they also believe that somehow Hillary's people either never checked out the whole birth certificate story, or that they were unable to engage in the kind of crack sleuthing that comess so easily to brave citizen-bloggers/photoshop "experts" , mentally unstable dentist-attorneys, and racist sheriffs

Over the past twenty years, Chicago politics have been infiltrated by radical Islamists at all levels. Their goal is to subvert the democratic process to re-shape America into a Muslim theocracy, much like how Hugo Chavez subverted Venezuela's democratic process to grant himself unlimited power.

Sounds impossible? Consider the tenants of Sharia law. One of them is that the state must care for sick and disabled. And the single largest piece of Obama's stated agenda was to bring universal health care to the United States. Coincidence? Could he be waging a psy-ops war against the country, so that by some point in his second term, the American public willingly capitulates to Sharia?

And why is it that Mitt Romney, the man who signed an oddly similar state-level healthcare bill as governor of Massachusetts, is repeatedly hailed as the front-runner in the Republican race to defeat Obama? Could it be that Romney actually has the same agenda as Obama, and is merely pandering to real Americans so that they'll blindly elect him, just as they blindly elected Obama? I need to get some sleep right now, but if you want to have a little fun with wacky conspiracy theories, here's another tidbit: since the Islamic empires of the middle ages occupied a lot of arid land, they put a heavy emphasis on water conservation (although I don't remember if that was actually part of Sharia). Anyone care to try to use that bit of trivia to try and link Islamic fundamentalism to environmentalism, and/or President Obama's environmental record?
