As much as it pains me to watch this, A scoreless draw really benefits Newcastle.

2012-03-24 10:11:46 AM
Langston: Offense is well below my expectations for this match.
both clubs are playing uptight, and now chippy.
there is a lot at stake, but they should be performing much better than this.

ADubs86: expobill: Magic hat #9 is good, but hoppy for a newbie, are we at a pub now?
if so, ask to sample anything there,

No, but I will be later tonight, and I don't have the funds this week to do my normal 3 vodka martinis followed by a glass of bourbon. Figured I'd try some beers while drafts tonight were a dollar each.

For drafts, I'm a big fan of Boddington's.

Hey hey! Liverpool wonderkid Raheem Sterling on the bench! Good to see him, kid's got some talent. John Barnes is really high on him.

2012-03-24 10:17:21 AM
As for beer suggestions, if just trying to buy a single beer as a nice gift, I'd suggest farmhouse saison Belgium style ale like Tank 7. It's got flavor and it much different than the beers he has likely ever tried. It's also very refreshing on a hot day. Also suggest Avery White Rascal or Aver The Reverend.

If you have time to go out, take him/her to a micro brewery and taste test a bunch. It's fun and even if they don't like it, they learn that there is more to beer than just Bud/Coors/Miller type swill.

I love how the crowd groans. As if that wasn't a full body check.

Ooohhhh, here comes Torres.

2012-03-24 10:23:41 AM
Mata 90 min winner?

2012-03-24 10:23:46 AM
Boddingtons is a good choice for those who dont like beer. it is very mild.

Magic hats or other hoppy microbrews are meals in a glass. you'll hate it halfway through.

It's afternoon in England, so technically you'd be cool.

ADubs86: Here's a question, what's a good beer for someone who doesn't like beer?

Chimay or one of the other Belgians seem to be popular with the non beer crowd at my bar. Can't go wrong with Guinness or Murphy's if the selection isn't huge.

Man as someone who wants Spurs to win this, this game has been aggravating to watch. So many wasted opportunities and giving away easy chances to Chelsea!

From BBC: "Captain Joey Barton is dropped by QPR. The midfielder was booed off against Liverpool and admitted afterwards it was the worst he had ever played."

Ha ha. You suck, Barton.

I hate to admit it - but using my proposed scoring system he is two points up on the rest of the field.

2012-03-24 10:41:48 AM
Oh well it's going to be a loooooong winter for us Chelsea supporters, so we need to win the UEFA this May.

2012-03-24 10:41:50 AM
Spurs set pieces and finishing is too poor at the moment. Seemed like they were the better side, but just didn't have that extra bit to finish off Chelsea who also played well. On to the rest of the fixtures (that I don't really care about haha).

Was so happy to read this! He's been miserable on the pitch for some time now and not the leadership you need from a captain.

/off to look for a live stream

Could not happen to a nicer guy. Aside from their game against Arsenal next weekend, I'll actually be able to root for the upstarts.

And there's the game. Cahill for MOTM

ADubs86: Spurs just might steal this late.

Or not.

Few chances, but overall boring match. Here's hoping the 3:00 fixtures are better.

Gibbs?! I'll take it!

KIERAN GIBBS opens the days scoring, mainly because Shay Given decided to be a buterfingers.

StRalphTheLiar: Gibbs?! I'll take it!

Pretty much what I came to say.

Morning, farkers. Let's see how Liverpool farks this up today.

Stimied: great pics.

Prediction league- I'm in for that. And Unfreakable could make sure that we get a thread every week. But it's probably better to find a 3rd party source. Though those of you who predicted a Liverpool win by 2-0 or 4-0 are delusional, at best.

And now, every stream is failing on me.
