In less popular leagues news, one point separates the top three in Portugal. In Holland, two points separate the top four and five points separate the top six. Just felt like sharing.

Reet,

We'll need to workshop a points system. I am [almost always] minded to go for simplicity, so I suggest [say] 2 points for the predicting the right outcome [win/loss/draw] and [say] 5 points for the exact result.

PL games only?
Predictions to only be valid if made before the game kicks off?
Would we manage it in-thread or through some extra-FARK home?
Am I already taking it too seriously?

Valencia FC is in there annual "3 points in the 3rd place" run.

Calm down, bro. We've got an entire offseason and copious Euro 12 threads to figure this out.

I don't follow them closely enough to know: did the players just feel stifled playing under AVB's system?

EPL games only, but we're going to have to get on our friendly mod to make sure we have threads every game week. We've missed a few midweek threads.

I'd prefer that if we are to do this, that we have a third party service run this for us, so everyone's on the same level.

Picks must be in an hour before first kickoff of the day.

No items. Fox only. Final Destina................whoops, wrong line of thought.

who knows?
AVB did not have his players attack and play to score goals, i guess.
I'm happy he is gone, i slept in for some matches instead of watching them this year, which is something i never did.

Wow, this game kind of sucks. Hopefully it's better in the second half. Chelsea look like they should've scored at least one by now.

Wow what a goal line scramble at the end. Nicely done by the Chelsea defense.

I tried to not keep evidence of the drunken debauchery that occurred during the trip haha. There are sets of my couple of days in Edinburgh, a day and a half in the Lake District and a few hours in York, but since they aren't football/soccer related I left them out. If you go to my sets from the Liverpool/Manchester sets you can see the others.

Wore my winter coat every day! I did get away with just wearing my kit and scarf for the first half of the Everton/Spurs match though before the wind/35 degrees got to me.

Blue Moon, Magic Hat #9, Purple Haze or Alagash White. Those would be my suggestions.

Magic hat #9 is good, but hoppy for a newbie, are we at a pub now?
if so, ask to sample anything there,

Juan Mata is incredible!

Yes he is, the more I see him play, the better I think he is. Great field presence and sees the entire field. Will echo a question above as I haven't seen a lot of Chlesea this year, did AVB just stifle them?

Offense is well below my expectations for this match.

No, but I will be later tonight, and I don't have the funds this week to do my normal 3 vodka martinis followed by a glass of bourbon. Figured I'd try some beers while drafts tonight were a dollar each.
