Supernaturaltoe, just read that link about the real Leatherface you put up. Dude, that is twisted. I didn't realize he was a real guy (or that he was the inspiration behind 'Psycho', too).

Don't forget, Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs was inspired by Ed Gein, too.

I actually spent my last semester in high school working on a video project for my movie engineering class. I ended up meshing together pictures of the most recognizable serial killers, their crime scenes, the Halocaust, decomposing corpses, heroin addicts and Vincent Kartheiser to the Alice in Chains song The Real Thing.

What got me was the fact that everyone said it would have been better had I added some of Leatherface, Freddy, Michael Myers, etc. I had to take out a bunch of book from my bag and show them that these people were the inspiration for most of the characters and that these were more frightning that the movies.

I think that was the class where everyone labeled me as a raving lunatic because I didn't talk to anyone, brought books on serial killers, true crime, dissections of the human body, listened to my CD player alot, and I went missing for random weeks out of the 3 month stretch for hospitalizations.

Good times, good times.

Leatherface is big, stupid, slow, and generally ineffective.

Best horror film of the past few years: "Scream".

Drew Barrymore was brilliant in the first 15 minutes.

Matt Lilliard (sp?) and the other guy who'se name escapes me were great as the lunatic killers.

Heh, I just ordered my Mezco Cinema of Fear set from Big Bad Toy Store. That's what Matt's horror "Legos" are. Too bad my set won't arrive in time for Haloween.

Wicker Man rules. I put the DVD in sometimes just for background music. Love that naked Britt Ekland.

USF Bull

'Scream' is NOT the best horror movie of the past few years, not even close. I mean, have you forgotten:

Frailty
The Ring
Session 9
Funny Games
The Others
House of 1000 Corpses
May

That's just off the top of my head. Heck, even the new "Chainsaw Massacre" is scarier than 'Scream'.

I'm a USF graduate, by the way. Go Bulls!

How about worst horror movie killer?

My vote goes to the killer in Prom Night. Might also get the award for gayest killer. Its like he stole his killin' costume from his grandmother.

Ok everyone, take a look at the second post. It appears that Daraymann isn't interested in this topic, so you guys are going to have to clear out of here...go on...nothing to see here.

I mean, if HE isn't interested in it, then hell...NO one should be, then. So no more talking about this topic.

Sorry about this whole mixup, Daraymann, we are desperately trying to fix this as quickly as possible, and the submitter is being exectued as we speak.

So, you're saying he's like the US government? In which case I guess that would make Sadam the screaming bimbo running in high heels.
