They were suffering from vertigo too, it was probably just a little radiation poisoning from staring at the sun.

"The park's administrative headquarters was evacuated and closed Wednesday afternoon after a number of employees reported a sudden onset of symptoms, including "skin irritation, respiratory distress, nausea, eye irritation, death, and sudden urge to feed on human flesh after working in the park's mailroom," according to the statement."

Wait, what? I do hate that skin irritation.

For some reason out of all the national parks I've been to, joshua tree holds a special place in my heart. Too bad my pasty white skin would burn to a crisp if i ever lived out there.

Yes, great headline, Subby

I'm betting the culprit was hydrazine gas. Someone mixed bleach and ammonia nearby.

/never liked U2, though. I found them insipid boring, though they were a tight band.

Be careful! You could lose circulation!

2012-03-23 12:08:11 PM
First, maybe they need to climb the highest mountains surrounding the park...at least they get a better view of the blood red sky that is over the park on Sunday

JackieRabbit: I'm betting the culprit was hydrazine gas. Someone mixed bleach and ammonia nearby

That gives you chlorine, not hydrazine. To get hydrazine you need to add acetone.
