I had an idea like this in Advertising school for a game on youtube for The Walking Dead....it probably would have moved faster than the actually show.

But i digress, i'm punching myself for not thinking of this. Brilliant piece of advertising on a Friday right before the big premier.

Those farking ads on Youtube are starting to get really annoying. Between that and the stupid blurbs people can put in videos it's getting to be quite a shiat site for watching videos.

Just started watching this show a couple nights ago on Netflix. Am amazed at the quality writing and attention to detail. Oh, and the little cultural jokes thrown in every now and again (little girl playing in a dry cleaning bag, mother don't care).

I feel bad for missing out for so long, but at least this means I can watch as much as I want without having to wait a week.

I dunno . . . seems like the gameplay would be a bit formulaic.

What would Don Draper do?

That was actually really cool.

I've been watching the show from Day 1, but my wife has never watched it. We started watching all the seasons on Netflix so I can get refreshed on what happened and get her caught up for the new show. I have to say, it's just as good the 2nd time. It's amazing all the details, hidden meanings, one liners and foreshadowing that gets lost on the first viewing.

Sadly, typing in the Konami code does not make Joan Holloway appear in a bathing suit.

Same reason "Lost" is so good... until you remember the final season.

"The game "knows" which order you picked!"

WOW! AMAZING! You'd need a computer with as much as HALF A BYTE OF MEMORY to keep track of which tasks you've completed and in what order!

Doctor Octoroc does an admirable job job with these 8-bit tributes (see also the Dr. Horrible one), but I'd be more impressed if the result was a working .nes ROM image, instead of just a YouTube video.

This is awesome...

but what would have been really awesome is if the link went to the site where you actually get the game, rather than an article about the game on a site that seems to be composed entirely of slide shows and pop-up surveys.

I don't think there's a game.

Also, that is not what an 8 bit game would look like, at all.
