The_Homeless_Guy: I assume the "two kids at a time" is just a result of the fertility clinic implanting two embryos into the surrogate. Double the chances of at least one surviving and twins aren't too high risk (obviously it gets bad once you get in 3+ territory). Keeps the parents from having to shell out another 10k. The age/twins make me think not natural and the fact that she is head of a surrogacy group (that oddly doesn't have a website) makes me think she went that route.

And you'd think (as I did) that if these twins were the result of laboratory intervention, that one would be ultra careful and treat them as Swarovski-crystal snowflakes.

My womb is a rocky place where my husband's seed could find no purchase (TMI, yeah) but I'm glad that I have a great stepson who calls me mom and I will legally adopt soon, even though he is 20 (his nutty egg donor wouldn't have signed off on it before if it would have saved his life). These kinds of stories really piss me off, though I've come to terms with being an evolutionary dead-end. As liberal as I am in many ways, I think I'd be ok with competency tests for parents. I see too many morons in the news treating their kids like trash when people (straight, gay, whatever) would be excellent parents and never get the chance. I don't know why I even read these stories.

About the male rape thing... I can honestly say if some biatch broke into my house and demanded that I let her blow me... I'd be kind of scared, and would not want my penis in her mouth at all. Not even a little bit.

zez: Yawn, they just sat around and waited for her to come back, they didn't even get the kids out of the car so what's the problem? Apparently the kids were ok.

In better news, anyone see this story at the bottom?

Woman, 39, accused of breaking into house and raping man. Australian Rebecca Elder 'performed oral sex' on alleged victim

"...performing an act of oral sex without his consent..."

I do not believe this has happened in the history of Earth.
