Some people might wonder what an over-sized photograph of a thoughtful Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is doing on display on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives next to a Democrat speaker.

Know how I know you're an idiot wing-nut?

What are you, stupid? It's very simple. Luis Gutierrez is a reverse community organizing vampire, and Rahm Emanuel is the leader of his Chicago coven, and Gutierrez was using a picture of Romney on the House floor to cast an illegal immigrant voodoo spell on him. Thus, Obama should be arrested along with the former mayor of Chicago Richard M. Daley because Obama and Daley used the little-known and completely unconstitutional Solyndra Rule to get Gutierrez onto the floor of the House to do it.

The "Democrat" instead of "Democratic" thing is a pretty good way to make me stop listening in mid-sentence to whatever the person using the term is saying.

It's like the folks who use the term "birth control pills" in a content that makes it obvious they truly believe that there is only one kind of hormonal birth control pill, and that they're interchangeable for all women.

The author should run for office. He filled two whole pages with vague accusations, a smattering of historic, yet completely irrelevant information, and a large amount of baseless speculation, then used it all to conclude that the opposition is the devil incarnate.

He's like a strange mixture of Newt Gingrich, Alex Jones, and my cousin who sits in the corner and talks to himself at family gatherings.

Yeah, but that has more to do with ignorance (willful or otherwise) than outright wing-nut asshattery.

shiat like "Barack Hussein Obama" written out unnecessarily (did anyone ever write out George Walker Bush or William Jefferson Clinton in that fashion?), any reference to him as a messianic figure, the word socialist, the word racialist, the aforementioned Democrat in lieu of Democratic, and the disparaging of the terms hope and change are my cue to back away slowly.

"Democrat speaker"
"Chicago cronies"
"Democratic politics" - wait, he meant to say "Democrat politics." HA HA! HE MISSED ONE!
"The Chicago Way"
"Solyndra"
"generations of immigrants, now mostly Hispanics of all kinds"
"community organizer"
"more English classes for foreign students"
"Chicago machine"
"stayed Present there"
"Daley II's retirement last year undefeated, of course"
"sentinel for Chicago's interests...and advocate for immigrants, legal and otherwise"
"Nancy Pelosi"
"Chicago's first Jewish mayor"
"uppity challengers"
"Latinos in America"

I think that's all of them.

We should make lists like that for every right-wing derp article, then submit all these phrases to a word cloud program. Then, I could write a little script so that future articles can be tested against the word cloud and rated with an official Unweighted Mean Average Derp score. Then we can rank articles/websites based on their UMAD values...

You're missing the base issue - it's not that their brains are fighting between these two opposing points:

1) Immigrants should speak English as their primary language.

2) We shouldn't spend any money or time on making #1 happen.

Their actual problem is that those people weren't born white & English-speaking from the get-go, hence #1 and #2 are completely in sync with each other - #1 only happened because they weren't born the right way, and #2 is obvious because they weren't born the right way.

Didn't make it past the Solyndra remark.

Solyndra loan: $535 million

The point? Anybody who brings up the Solyndra thing as some egregious example of government waste or cronyism or whatever has the intellect of a leaking colostomy bag.

Come to think of it, we might not need to create the list of phrases first. Just submitting the entire article to the word cloud program might be enough, which makes things a lot easier. I'll jot this idea down and see what I can do....

The wheels are already turning... how each article ranks in overall UMAD score, the "hall of famers" with the highest UMAD score, etc., could be fun. We could keep track of authors and websites, so scores could be sorted for these categories. Of course, the total UMAD score for a single website/author would have to be averaged by the number of entries, so there would be an Unweighted Mean Average Derp Divided by Entries of Submitted Text... then we could list the websites/authors by UMADDEST.
