I bet the 12-15 year old boys in her school are loving that crowd. I'd bet $100 that each one of those girls has had a dick in her at least once, probably a lot more. They're acting like slutty college girls and they're not even in high school.

I take it that particular newspaper doesn't screen the photographers they hire. You know, just to make sure they're not on the sex offender registry. Does the UK have a sex offender registry, or the budget for one?

Oh, and the mom is a tool.

Rich people have expensive homes and fancy toys. That isn't news to me.

A friend of mine has a fairly large dance floor in his rec room. I'm sure the one in the article is fancier - but they can afford it.

2012-03-22 03:19:30 AM
I saw this on Grand Designs, and the dance floor section was for Mum, they didn't even try to pretend it was for the kids at the time. Not to mention the dance floor was made out to be quite a bit more expensive than this article suggests. Looks like an oversized novelty gift to me, the sort that loses its novelty in less than two weeks and would normally end up in a rubbish bin, only that would be a bit hard to do with that floor. I guess you could just lay carpet over it.

Mrs Farrow adds: 'My friends think we're mad but they are very envious.'

No, I saw you on the show, you are most certainly mad and your house is ugly so I am certainly not envious.

"Become"? Even cavemen went clubbing when they wanted women.

Well, maybe not the Geico ones, because they don't really like women and all, but most of the other ones did.

Submitter fails on all levels
The entire house is £1m, the night club is not £1m a tacky living room with a thousand bucks of LEDs.

FTFY.

Considering there doesn't seem to be a lot of skirt to begin with, it was probably a challenge to not take one.
Well, and this is the Daily Fail, so she probably handed that picture in together with 50 shots that weren't at all like that.

2012-03-22 04:19:00 AM
ShawnDoc: £1 million was for the entire house, not just the disco in the basement.

This. And since article said the floor cost £6000 and the sound system was acquired from a club (probably upgrading or going out of business, ergo cheap), the room probably wasn't very much money compared to some of the other amenities in the house. And really, £1 million to build a nice house from scratch in London isn't particularly pricey by British standards.

I really don't see anything particularly stupid about this. Their intentions make some sense, the price wasn't ridiculous, and it's a cool party room to have in the house.

2012-03-22 04:45:51 AM
xl5150: Not $1 million; £1 million. That's about $1,587,800 as of today.

And that was the total cost of the house.

What they don't get is that you don't go to nightclubs just to dance. You go there to whore yourselves out or to look for potential mates! How can these kids prostitute themselves if their parents are always watching??? And what's this, no boys? So not only did they take away the freedom of the kids to choose their partner's gender, they are now forcing them to become lesbians!

I'm no perv...and was just reading about how the DJ Dad probably got to write it off as a business epxense...but then noticed the angle of pics and how you can almost see underwear.

I'd be pissed if I was their parents but since they apparently built this for their daughter they probably aren't great parents to begin with.

Maybe this is the male mind vs the female mind...., but lets say you go over there, jump around for 20 minutes getting wowed by the light show on the floor and thumping music.... what then? Wouldn't you be done with that place? Wouldn't you bored to hell with it being just a flashy room? The next step would be inviting more people to it. Before you know it you'd become what you were trying to avoid...

As for this honestly....I'd be telling my daughter to go do her homework and then come downstair and help out with cleaning the dishes/or some other chore.... not buying her a nightclub. Man, are these parent making trouble for themselves down the road....I wonder who's idea this was more of... the mother or father?

Very true what was said about the up-skirt photography. Kind of odd allowing that as a parent...but its all pretty odd on a few levels.

I don't think I see the problem. If they have the money, why not? It's not like British teens have a high rate of teen pregnancies and alcoholism. Let the kids have some weird sense of fun, but keep them in watchful eye I guess.
