Yeah, it might. My wife and I looked into registering a trademark and incorporating a business in that name that happens to be used by a website today. From what I've read, there is a good chance that a judge would deny my request to seize the website since it has been in existence for some years, and that they in turn could come after us.

Problem is, some judges aren't big on honoring prior precedence.

First mistake was contacting the idiot to begin with. It's like taunting a homeless guy.

This is funny, because last night I saw 2 homeless guys fight over about 1oz. of spilled soda. Later I learned that the aggressor, who was angry at the spilled soda, had assaulted someone I had been trying to help get a job because he kept showing up at the employment center and actually seemed to want to work. They found him stumbling around drunk - as he was around 7PM - by the church across the street from the library at about 1:30AM and I had to talk to the cops. Seems a bunch of people saw the aggressor kick this guy in the head twice around 6:30PM. I really thought the other guy was just drunk. Looks like it's a concussion now. Also, I don't think I can find work for a homeless drunk. I don't even have a job, but his resume was impressive and one of my references is an engineer with West Penn Testing. I doubt they'll want to hire a drunk, street-fighting hobo.

Especially if you are on the other side of the country from him. He doesn't show, you get a default judgement. Then when he doesn't pay, put a lien on something he owns, like the dart club name.
