Oh, she's a real gem.

Great headline.

Ok, I laughed

Someone's begging to receive a uterus in the mail.

Can't they substitute "Chainman of the Board"?

It does make me wonder who is going to pay for all these procedures and additional "services"? I know in FL they were proposing the woman foot the bill for her medically unnecessary procedure.

Nothing like being violated and having to pay for the privilege.

What kind of woman would vote Republican this year?

2012-03-21 10:03:17 AM
So, in order for a woman to an observe an abortion, they're going to need women having abortions? Makes sense I guess.

2012-03-21 10:03:56 AM

Diogenes: Someone's begging to receive a uterus in the mail.

Women could just dispose of their placentas by jarring them and selling them at farmer's markets giving them to the concerned legislator.

/The best thing about the placenta is cold placenta sandwiches the next day.

Now for my serious comment: Are these idiots working on the assumption that everyone who is getting an abortion is just a slut who can't keep her legs shut? What about little suzie who was raped by uncle steve at the family reunion or the women who are making a difficult choice so their baby doesn't live a life of complete suffering from birth to death. But is this a case of "screw them, they shouldn't be such whores"?

Well, yes. It's always a blessing, even if the child is a product of incest, or rape, or the pregnancy is ectopic, or the baby will be born with horrible and painful deformities that will cause him to suffer through his short life. And women are sluts who can't make their own decisions.

Not to joke, but the implicit assumption is that she was asking for it. Now, the majority of sane and thinking people will say that's simplistic, out of touch with reality, not reflective of the facts, and thoroughly sexist.

To which the right will say, "Oh you lefties and your nuance."

Uh yes. These farktards are convinced that anyone who has ever had an abortion only did so because they were a slut who got pregnant.

I guess, if you thing of them all as sluts it makes it easier to rape them. They weren't really raped because they were sluts. They need to reminding of that for the abortion. It is self perpetuating.

Wait, the bill requires women to watch a video of the bill being signed into law? That's pretty meta.

I'm introducing a bill that all abortions will be televised. That way everyone can watch.

Wasn't there some novel about a group that put a full abortion on TV during the superbowl or something? In the book, it had the opposite effect they wanted where everyone was more upset about seeing an abortion than the fact that they happen.

Because all abortions are rape related?

The abortion watching idea is a crock. However I like the idea of watching a pregnancy and changing of a baby as being mandatory for high school sex ed classes.

2012-03-21 10:47:39 AM
They should do the same for liposuction. That way, no one would get liposuctions and I wouldn't be caught unawares flipping through channels when they show one on TV cuz that shiat's nasty

That's hardly shocking since they think that any woman who wants access to birth control is a shameless slut doing dozens of guys a week.

So is AZ also requiring women wanting an abortion to wait a day, you know, "to think it over" too?

What did women do to make the entire GOP establishment mad at them? You'd think they'd be trying to win women over to their way of thinking, not driving them helter-skelter away with all these idiotic, repressive laws.

Before you eat lunch, you should have to watch a video of how the animal was slaughtered. Basically this politician is in favor of PETA tactics.

You'd be surprised. Although the real fear is that women will just stay away from the polls this year, which would likely be even worse.

Also, Finland looks better every single farking day.

Or vasectomies. My mom and I watched one on Discovery Health years ago. It was on for a few minutes before we figured out what we were watching. Mom: "What is that? It looks familiar. Is that a dog?"

2012-03-21 10:51:08 AM
Yeah and if you want your wisdom teeth removed, you should have to watch that. And also if you're getting your tonsils removed, or giving birth, or getting brain surgery. Also if you want some ipicac to throw up poisons, you have to watch a frat party. And if you want to start having sex you have to watch porn.

The violation to which I'm referring is the ultrasound.

A submissive wife married to a closeted homosexual.

You know, the GOP nuclear family.

I didn't think their war against women would have legs to last to November but if they keep this shiat up all summer...

I suggest that all lawmakers be forced to go through an unwanted pregnancy, be it their own or a female family member, before they try to make laws like this.

onyxruby: The abortion watching idea is a crock. However I like the idea of watching a pregnancy and changing of a baby as being mandatory for high school sex ed classes.

Sex ed classes should be just an hour of the most violent, disgusting, and degrading pornography scoured from the internet. From pterodactyls to mrhands to swap.avi, it should all be represented. Mix it up a bit with slideshows of what STDs can do to your genitals.

2012-03-21 10:52:43 AM
Sex ed is a waste of money, but forcing women to watch abortions and have unnecessary medical procedures is totally worth it.

It's because the GOP women's base is made up of spiteful church-going women who get off on judging and punishing people - especially other women.

FTF email the retarded politician sent...

"Until the dead child can tell me that she/he does not feel any pain - I have no intentions of clearing the conscience of the living - I will be voting YES."

You do realize that there's a wealth of scientific information on fetal cerebral development, right? The dead child couldn't even think of anything to tell you until very long after elective abortion becomes illegal in most places. A fetus during the first half of the pregnancy couldn't even feel pain, let alone formulate some kind of reaction to it. There's no functional nervous system.

Even after the brain does fall into some kind of identifiable brain wave pattern, the mind is so primitive as to be meaningless.

That gives me an idea. In addition to waiting a day, you should be required to make your Facebook page public and post "Im a pregnant slut and tomorrow I'm thinking of getting an abortion, what do you think?"

2012-03-21 10:53:34 AM
I do have to wonder why the GOP is jumping on abortion and birth control, especially after as much blowback was initially caused. It's an awfully bold move, especially being that no one requires patients watch videos on heart surgery before getting an operation, for instance.

I do think the incest/rape argument is a bit odd as well. I don't doubt that those are reasons why some abortions are carried out, nor do I think it is our business as to why a woman would request one, but it does sound like its using a worst-case scenario as a justification. There's probably better ways to position an argument.

They're looking to lose women the same way they lost Latino voters.
