End of 1 in MSG!

NY 1
NJ 0

2012-03-19 08:25:11 PM
NESN just showed 4 Leafs fans in the stands in Boston with bags on their heads, a la New Orleans Saints fans of old... I kinda feel sorry for Leafs fans...but not really.

cameroncrazy1984: keylock71: Looks like it's going to be a long night for the Leafs...

Yeah, like they're not used to it...

Yep. Nothing like 40 punches to the gut... but the 41st: I don't even feel anything.

Oh man, that's priceless. Someone needs to buy them each a beer and a B's hat. Time to make some converts!

There just too nice to hate... I've yet to meet an asshole Torontonian.

DenisBergkamp: soopey: Where the hell was this Bruins team for the past six weeks?

In fairness they're playing Toronto.

Can the Bruins play Toronto for their next 10 games?

They're even...

2012-03-19 08:29:23 PM

Captain Steroid: robsul82: What is this nonsense of immediately breaking up the fourth fight of the night? Come on, lol.

Second. I count the first three as one, massive battle royal. :P

LOL, yes, MSG hasn't seen anything like that since Royal Rumble 2000.

Very true. I actually had a couple sit next to me at the Toronto/Bs game I went to early in the season, and we got along just fine.

The asshole Leaf fans only come to First Niagara Center, apparently.

Foligno makes it 3-0 Sabres! Come on, Wings, dammit!

2012-03-19 08:37:09 PM
Well. 7-0 Bruins at the end of two. Let's hope the Leafs don't get chippy and start hunting people in the third.

Don't say that in my town. Up here every Leafs fan is a drunk who spends the whole game swearing at 12 year old girls and picking fights with their dads. At least that's the radio tells me.

I'm going to be hunting them when they get back in Toronto.

Oh dear, if at the annual NHL awards there's one given for "worst line change of the year", I think Toronto just earned it on the 7th goal.

In their defense they are dealing with 'Nucks fans. It's most likely a preemptive strike.

Refs don't seem to be doing a great job. Heatley slashes someone who is a few steps from being off the ice, has a third man into a fight and ends up on the power play.

2-0 Rags on another early goal. C'mon, guys, get it together.

I think that would be some kind of human rights violation and by game 9 Bono would be doing a benefit concert to raise awareness for leafs nation.

So we're all agreed that Brian Burke is the greatest GM ever?

We're four years into his plan, he's thrown his first hand-picked coach under the bus (yeah I know, but Burke getting JFJ's job was an open secret and MLSE was just following Burke's instructions even before he was formally hired), Carlyle is somehow managing to crater the team even even worse by killing the offence without actually improving the horrible defense, and I'djust love to hear how Burke would rationalize how all this is someone's fault other than 100% his.

Just the thought of Bono in a Leafs jersey singing his pretentious heart out in the middle of Mutual Street Arena surrounded by hound-dog-eyed Toronto children is gonna have me chucking for days

Out of curiosity, has any GM ever accepted full responsibility for screwing up a team?

As long as they somehow managed not to set fire to any cop cars or smash the windows of any storefronts they're still better behaved than Vancouver fans.

Yes, because every Canucks fan is clearly a rioter. Dumbass.
