Well, if Osama bin Laden says something about politics, we should all listen to him and vote accordingly.

At least, that's what's the GOP told me in the 2004 and 2008 presidential elections.

Joe Biden would be one of the best presidents we could possibly have. He's whip smart and well educated. Watch the man answer questions about any foreign issue, he understands the issue, he knows the players, he is aware of the situation.

And because he would *NEVER* be re-elected, he can focus on the one term he has, rather than re-election.

Great leader. Bad politician.

Is this the time where we respect bin Laden's opinion, or is it the time where we say "he was just psyching us out/lying", or..?

Wait, no. He's dead. Neener neener.

Actually, this could be a pretty good setup for a liberal media gotcha question.

LIBERAL LAMESTREAM MSM MEDIA REPORTER AGENT: "Mr. Romney, do you believe that Joe Biden would be an effective president?"

ROMNEY: "No, I do not."

We could do worse than Biden. I mean, the guy in office now is better than Biden, but he'd hardly be bad at the job as such.

al-Qaeda did not appear to have the capability to shoot down aircraft

Isn't Air Force One harder to shoot down than normal aircraft? It's equipped with countermeasures, and chaffs and stuff, right? Is the article saying that they can't shoot down ANY aircraft, or just this ONE particular aircraft?

Biden's reputation for making gaffes is really overblown. Now it's a self-fulfilling phenomenon, where the media will try to frame any Biden statement as a gaffe.

Reporter: "What do you think of A, B, and C?"
Biden: [gives honest and nuanced answer that's perhaps a bit more blunt than the fluff the reporter was expecting]
Reporter: "OMG! Get a load of Biden's latest gaffe!"

The thing that always kills me about that pic is that Obama doesn't have a tasty, tasty beverage in front of him. If I was POTUS and looking like something like that, I'd damn sure have an excellent cup of coffee in front of me.

I don't know why I always obsess about this relatively minor thing...but I do.

"Stand up Chuck!"

Nothing in the last 30 years of public life has indicated he was moderately intelligent, let alone whip smart. I actually pray that Obama will survive just to avoid a President Biden.

You mean the guy who said in the same debate that FDR came on TV after the stock market crash to reassure voters? Even though he wasn't even president then, and there was no TV?

The guy who didn't even know the difference between Article I and Article II when he was lecturing Dick Cheney about his activist VP role?

Joe Biden has been a wonderful VP for President Obama. He has served his purpose perfectly and will likely be Obama's running mate the next time as well.

Of course the purpose he serves is that of an insurance policy. He's literally the most unintelligent person on capital hill and EVERYONE knows it. Obama might be running this country straight into the ground but no maniac is going to off him because Joe Biden would be far worse. Even the homicidal nutbags recognize this.

Biden- The Human Insurance policy.

Not for nothing, but that moment right there is what I believe sealed Obama's re-election. Also, Joe Biden thinks the Onion parodies of him are funny, so he's got that going for him. Anyone who doesn't take themselves seriously is a good egg.

So..you've never actually heard him speak for more than a minute, is what your saying?

Yeah, the guy isn't smooth. He isn't able to speak in bumper stickers. Watch him on any talk show, or any debate get asked a question. And watch him spend 5 minutes giving a well thought out but boring answer that shows he knows EXACTLY what he's talking about.
