Really not much room in that thing to smuggle secret documents across the border, is there?
We'll have to evade Nazi detection some other way.

Maybe something about how they've spent so much time attacking Samsung for violating their designs, and then it turns out that they use Samsung components in their own products?

Being sensible for a moment that is no great surprise to anyone. There are only so many companies that make LCD panels, it was either gfvcoing to be Sharp, Samsung or LG and most people had money on Samsung. I think the SSD chips are Samsung as well.

It's one of the reasons all these companies attacking each other is so funny.

I get the feeling you don't know much about the tech industry or any other industries in general.

Business skirmishes are not fought like a world war. If you have a legal beef with a customer or partner, you don't suddenly cut all ties to them. Particularly when they are one of your largest customers. They call that "cutting off your nose to spite your face." Apple purchasing displays from is very profitable for Samsung, and like they were able to provide the technology and volume Apple wanted for its products.

Sending them packing over unrelated legal issues would hurt them both tremendously in a financial sense. It's also a matter of burning bridges. They don't want to be in the courts with each other forever, and when the dust settles they both want to keep making money off each other.

Businesses don't make decisions on hurt feelings. Not one that want to be successful, anyway.

Yes, which is why I find it so amusing that they launch these full scale attacks on Samsung's tablets while at the same time being fully reliant on purchasing Samsung components to make their own tablets.

You may want to look at all the the court cases in the tech world. Everyone sues everyone else. They also mostly all do business with each other. No part of any of this is irony. It's common strategy.

Just because it is common does not preclude it from being absurd, or ironic.

I really think you need to look up the definition of irony. According to yours, it was ironic for the justice department to go after Ma Bell and Microsoft while using their products and services. It was ironic for Reagan to sell arms to the Iranians while openly condemning them. It was ironic for the US to put kraut scientists to work on the Manhattan Project while we were openly at war with Germany. These are not examples of irony. Words mean things!

Ironic would be having a case against Microsoft but because you'd legally stated EULA's were a binding contract Microsoft's anti-sue clause prevented you from executing the warrants because you'd typed them up in Word.

I think.

No - I meant it's gratuitous. Is she a tech? Does she have insight? Yes yes, I know news stations do this all the time, but I get annoyed at that too.

I would laugh as equally hard at the infamous picture of the women playing Xbox (original) and obviously getting very in to the game and enjoying themselves... whilst the thing isn't actually plugged in if the same picture had used men instead of women.

I'd find either equally insulting as a player of video games and categorise it as "Marketing Bullshiat" either way.

And I'd agree that there needs to be more beefcake for the ladies to oogle as well.

How do we know they are intentinally doing this? Does anyone else really care about her cred? She's very good at the voiceover work and it's a bonus that she is cute. I fail to see a problem here :*)
