You need Bag Balm. Good for sore Boobies. It is used for cows..I know, I know...vut really it helps!

Whatever you do, don't use that Rogaine gel on 'em.
It may be cool and soothing, but you *won't* like the side effects!

Naw, you only get one or two wild hairs....

I haz a sad. Our senior cat Elizabeth died last week. She was only 12 and we had hoped to have her for another 6-7 years.
farm8.staticflickr.com">

We got Elizabeth aka Lil Bit as a young kitten from a shelter. We entered the shelter intending to adopt an adult cat. When we entered the room with the cats, the adults sort of milled around and pretty much ignored us but this tiny kitten came running across the room jumped up on my pants and climbed to my shoulder and started purring. She then went to my husband's arms, looked up at him and purred. That was it she had chosen us.

She bonded strongly on my husband knowing his mood and health status at all times and did everything she could to ensure that he was in top form (whether that was lying on top of him to keep him in bed when he was sick or holding paws if he was sad).

Man I had an awesome FAT black cat that looked like this. Dumber than a box of rocks. But a pretty boy, jet black with yellow eyes. Lived 15 years. Loved him to death, but he was a mean bastard, would attack any and everything.

Until I gave him to my mom. Then he started hanging around her other cats and actually began GROOMING them. Was the most inexplicable thing you ever saw: The Nasty Boy cleaning up fellow kittehs without gouging their eyes out.

Those other cats laid right down next to him on his deathbed, all the way up to his last breath. Then THEY groomed HIM.

That was weird, sad, and pretty cool.

i miss sleep. the naps just aren't cutting it. and sometimes at 3am i have to remind myself that i wanted this. not to mention sore boobies...

I had a sister in law that had seven kids, and she nursed all of them.
She'd come over to visit her sister, and she'd just whip one out and feed
the "infant du jour" with the finest homemade mammalian essences.

Her nipples wound up being so tough she could use them to sand down rough lumber.
Even hickory and pressure treated redwood.

litespeed74: Happy caturday everyone. Tomorrow I'm going into a shelter to adopt my 1st kitty. They just got a ton of black cats in from a hoarding situation. It seems like the black feline gets a bad rap.
My question is...how in the world do I leave there w/ only 1 cat and how do I pick? I worry I'll have issues figuring out which kitty deserves a home because they all do. Any tips? I will be looking for an adult...

If you are gone often, consider getting two. Play with and hold some cats and you will find the one(s).

AlienDandelion: *Quietly enters, pulls herself up on her wooden apple crate*
I have returned...
Many of you will recognize me by my new Fark handle alone...
I hope it meets your approval...

I have been going through what can only be described as epic mustache and hushpuppy levels of "What is this I don't even"...
I have been travelling through every single portal of hell, been drowning in a darkness truly evil and blacker than black and devoid of everything...
Through it I lost my baby Ben Hurr in January (RIP my favorite orange ball of dissaproval), and recently had to give up my heffalump sized Gremlin to his new Kingdom as I found out
I was slowly poisoning him with my body (he was always a groomer and had been slowly ingesting the chemo and other drugs coming out of my pores).
Even though I am truly heartbroken, I take solace that he truly is currently reigning over his new big house that is full of full length mirrors in which he can fully admire his beauty, and be constantly fawned over
by his new master and two seinor cougars named Misty and Snowbell.
I am still in the midst of a current horrifying battle with the C and D.
I am still in the midst of trying to recover after being severely hacked and my complete identity stolen beginning of February, of which there is still a long way to go...
I have pretty much lost everything in a lot of ways...

...but I am slowly pulling myself out of said darkness...

I sincerely want to just shout as loud as this little body can "THANK YOU" to my favorite Caturday Family for the incredible, amazing support and help since shiat went down faster than I could shake my
tassels at.
My thanks can never truly be enough for all that you have done.
It brings tears to my eyes and I have missed you so damn much.

I am so sorry I could not stay in contact these last few months. I had no choice, due to safety for everyone, and strength.
As punishment for me, may the spankings commence.

No spankings, unless you want me to dress up like one of the nuns from Castle Anthrax and you promise to enjoy it...

*HUGS AND TONS AND TONS OF CADBURY CREME EGGS INSTEAD*

You've been missed, glad to see you :3

Glee, a few of us got together for drinks and munchies to watch Puss In Boots. That movie is way cuter than it should be. If you haven't seen it yet, go rent it. RedBox has it in DVD and Blu-Ray, I'm pretty sure that Netflix does, too. :)

Dust is too right. Sympathy & condolences to Maggiesmom & family on loss of Elizabeth/Lil Bit. She must've had some secret ill or ail. Fang Q for pix & eulogy, she was lovely.
Belated sympathy & condolences to Benjamin Stone for the big previously mean black cat who went to live with his mom, & evidently got a personality transplant along with it.

Another advance for Kay the coming-birthday boy. Our favourite Alien gets the credit for this one.

Speaking of which, those of you who patronize CVS pharmacy may not have seen their week's flier, offering Cadbury creme eggs to card holders, 2/$1. Purchase limit not stated.
Also wish to personally thank highwayrun who IDed original source of colleen & leprechaun for me at 0dark30 this AM. Both were already .gif'ed when I saved 'em, most likely a yr ago.
Unfortunately, no word back yet from Hop Along Cattiday, tho I did attach return-rcpt request on my e-msg to her. This calls for a bit more research.
