I'll never abandon Rush.

Eimers says Limbaugh made "morally wrong statements," but criticized a number of "dangerous, radical organizations" for seizing upon those statements and to attack free speech.

He was wrong, but it made the liberals mad, so I'll back it 100%.

This is exactly the kind of backwards stupidity I expect from Lenoir City.

Man... These Conservative dinks really have no idea what free speech is all about, do they?

I want to buy ad space on his program airing Fluke's actual speech, interleaved with Limbaugh calling her a slut.

Why would you buy national ad time for a local business or is he just buying local ad time on the station that happens to play Limbaugh?

That means freedom from consequences, right? I can say whatever I want and no reprecussions?

Perhaps we should start a collection for this. It would be interesting if, after throwing out accusations of censorship, if they refused to run the ad...

I wonder what Elmer's female relations (assuming he has them) think of his choice and "reasoning".

For those who will choose to use this ad as an excuse to attack our constiutional right to free speech, I have one thing to say: We will not be intimidated. Bring it on."

So spouting off is considered free speech, but boycotting a company for advertising with the person spouting off is totally not cool?

If any of Elmer's female relations give him any lip about this, he'll give them a black eye to teach them that they should shut up and get him a sammich.

I mean, if it's fine for Rush to attack a private citizen as a "slut" for her political beliefs, I can conclude that ol' Elmer is a wife-beater for his, right?

I don't actually think it was a national ad buy. Local time on the Rush show must be only a few hundred bucks an ad or less right now.

The kind that violates Rushs' Constitutional right to all of that sweet advertiser money.

No need to descend to anyone else's level. Though I admit, it's very, very tempting.

The ad was so effective that he got that new customer before it even aired. Word got out that he had recorded it, and the buzz just grew from there.

I really have no issue with this, largely if it's a small business. The guy prob has few options for major exposure and this made economic sense.

If it were a major company that had other options I'd be bothered.

What this means is that if even Elmer can afford to buy an ad, this means that Rushbo's revenue is certainly taking a deep cut. He'll have to get by on only TWO fistfuls of Oxycontin per show instead of five, and have to cut back to only three Dominican girlyboys per week.
