Just like how the stimulus is bad, butt how they all had to get a photo-op dispersing stimulus funds.

Everyone is suffering in America and you would be too if it wasn't for your valiant republican governors! It's like how North Korea is a garbage heap but they tell their people that everywhere else is worse.

The mentioned states' economies are doing well, but they're fighting against the overall US economy, which is floundering largely due to economic pressures of the overspending of the government.

Seriously, is that so hard to understand?

You'd almost think that their priority is making Obama a one-termer. As if they'd ever admit anything like that.

Things for the USA as a whole look a lot better than they did since Obama took over the WH... but go ahead Righties... give us a good reason why Obama must go.

GDP performance during the Obama Administration has gone into positive growth.
thecentristword.files.wordpress.com

US stock markets performance during the Obama Administration...
DOW in 01/20/2009: 7,949.09
DOW in 03/13/2012: 13,177.68
Rate of Return: 65.78%

S&P in 01/20/2009: 805.22
S&P in 03/13/2012: 1,395.95
Rate of Return: 73.36%

NASDAQ in 01/20/2009: 1,440.86
NASDAQ in 03/13/2012: 3,039.88
Rate of Return: 109.77%

Private jobs hemorrhage slowed down during the Obama Administration and eventually went into positive territory.

Unemployment rate has been trending down now during the Obama Administration.

One year trend...

During the Obama Administration...

Read all about it...

Private-sector job growth biggest in 3 years (new window)

Stealth signs of a stronger job market (new window)

Biggest unemployment rate improvement in nearly 28 years (new window)

Small businesses ramp up jobs (new window)

Jobs: 2 hopeful signs (new window)

The unemployment rate fell to 8.3%. That is the lowest since February 2009 (new window)

Stealth jobs boom: 6 months, 2 million jobs (new window)

Jobless claims plunged last week to a nearly four-year low (new window)

If you are unemployed or underemployed, you don't have a 4 year degree (or higher) and blame Obama for your situation, then maybe you should get a college degree. It is not the Gov's fault you don't have the necessary skills to compete in today's world. The Gov can even help you pay for it (via loans, grants, GI Bill etc).

Your taxes have not gone up since Obama took office. This was a rooted fear from Tea Partiers. Take a look at a Forbes article written by Bruce Bartlett, a self-described fiscal conservative...

And they turn around and use that government money to plug holes in their own budgets. Thus it is the federal government overspending that is helping these states stay afloat.

It is because he's a democrat, and also because he's black.
The thing is, with both being true, the second one goes into their denial file. If they thought Bill Clinton might have been born in Vienna to a British father and young, American mother, they'd have tried it against him, too. Because he's white they would have dropped it when it became embarrassing.
We need to give the conservatives a safe space to open up to their own feelings, and realize that their not wanting to be racists, doesn't mean they aren't.
Likewise, we need to treat them like they don't want to be racists, even though they are.

Bu...bu...but that's the Democrat's fault. They blocked that bill that would gut our environmental laws so a mining company could bring in out-of-state workers to start an iron mine. Why do the Democrats hate helping the local economy.

Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder described his 2010 message as "jobs, jobs, jobs." Now that they're in office, they're eager to showcase any and all improvements as proof that their policies are working.

Yes, thank you Republican governor Rick Snyder for the jobs in Michigan. I cannot think of anything else that might have helped jobs recovery in Michigan. It was at the state level, Rick Snyder and the Republicans who did it.

But just for imagination's sake, you know what would be really funny? If there was a different, really obvious reason why the jobs recovered in Michigan. You know what would be funnier? If that reason included the federal government helping out. You know what would be funniest? If it was Fartbama himself LOL!1!#@@

It's not stretching, when you realize that the cumulative states are actually not doing so bad.

Not that I'd ever expect a Republican to see reality and tell it like it is.
