It seems to be working normally for me. There just isn't much to see yet.

Yeah, it's working now. Must have been a glitch.

I'm eagerly waiting for T3 to be over so I can switch it to MSNBC or CNN. Watching the speeches last week was truly lulzy. WTF is wrong with Santorum's daughter? She always looks like she's trying not to poop herself.

I've been seeing this commercial over and over that says the Mayan callendar predicts a shift in the magnetic poles or something. I have never heard that theory before by 2012ers.

My home state is ripe for mocking tonight, well, more so than usual I suppose.

Sigh, at least I have a big bottle of vodak to see me through.

Why does no network, newspaper, or blog ever include fractions with their vote percentages? Why do they always round to a whole percent? Is everyone that afraid of fractions?

Lost Thought 00: Blitzer tries to speed up the process (as though they have something more important to be saying) by telling the reporter to explicitly skip reporting Ron Paul news.

They're Mississippi Republicans. They're not Black.

dumbobruni: 538 has gotten many things wrong during this primary season. for example, just one day before the Ohio primary, Nate Silver gave Santorum a 60% chance of winning.

Umm, did he predict a win for Santorum? Stating a probability is not the same as making a prediction. I predict that when I roll this standard 6-sided die that there is an 83% chance it won't roll a five. Does that mean my statement was wrong if it comes up five?

Three Crooked Squirrels: So are you pretty much all watching Cnn? I was too, but I am going to break both left AND right and start flipping between msnbc and fox.

I don't watch Fox because, well, it's Fox. The MSNBC panel drives me up the wall (Matthews and O'Donnell in particular), so CNN wins by default.

/love the MSNBC music though

Sock Ruh Tease: In Hinds County, problems reported:

-- No Republican primary was being conducted at Marshall Elementary as of 9 a.m., two hours after precincts were scheduled to open.

Marshall Elementary Precinct (Voting District 74) 2008 voting stats:
Obama: 459
McCain: 108

Sock Ruh Tease: The Oak Forest precinct didn't open until 7:30 a.m.

Oak Forest Precinct (Voting District 92) stats:
Obama: 1249
McCain: 263

Sock Ruh Tease: The Baker Elementary School precinct didn't open on time, and it was unclear if it has opened.

Baker Elementary Precinct (Voting District 72) stats:
Obama: 472
McCain: 66

Yeah, not exactly precincts where the Republicans need all 13 hours to vote.

/Voting data from finding the districts here (new window), plus google for the precinct locations

I settle on Cnn for the same reasons. Basically they are the middle by default. But I thought I would wander over to the others to see what was going on. Msnbc is basically just doing their typical election coverage. Fox has hannity blasting recent news re: polls that show southerners thinking obama is a Muslim to pelosi's kid's video. Not even doing GOP election coverage. Just spinning. Now he is spinning Game Change. With tucker carlson's help.

According to the most recent results I'm looking at, Santorum has the lead in Alabama, with Gringrich close behind. But with only 1% of the vote in it's impossible to be sure.

In Mississippi Romney has the lead...by 8 votes. I'd say that's too early to call as well.

My guess is Santorum will win both states, which could cause things to go all the way to the convention. If Romney somehow manages to win in both, he'll have basically won the nomination. Regardless, I think Romney will win Hawaii, as he usually does in more liberal states.

In the time it took for me to type this, Santorum has developed comfortable leads in both states. Looks like this primary is far from over.

I think it was Mississippi that said that they only have enough electronic voting for one primary at a time, and this year it was the Democrats' turn.

If Santorum wins both states and then Gingrich drops out (unlikely) then the rest of the spring is going to be farking EPIC. Santorum really doesn't have a path to 1144 delegates but he can in theory prevent Romney from getting there.
