Only 17 years too late there, buddy.

I'll wait to hear what the other Jon Benet Ramsey's dad thinks of this.

Hey, have a heart. It makes perfect sense he'd hate these things.

A kid gets into this, pretty soon her dad wants to have chokey sexy fun time with her. And then her brother sees them, thinks it looks like fun, tries chokey sexy fun time of his own with her, and then she dies.

Losing a child is hard even when you're not close. When you're chokey sexy fun time close, it's even harder.

The beauty pageant thing was his wife's hobby not his I doubt he knew what on at those thing until after his child was murdered.

He said, the weirdest part is none of those TLC girls end up dead in their basements. How can their fathers resist such temptation?

He must have seen the glamour shots. The ones where she looks like a thirty year old with strangely infantile features.

It's not at all bizarre if everything this man believed may have been turned upside down. His daughter was murdered. His wife died of cancer. He's been through the wringer with law enforcement and tabloid media.

What seem bizarre to me is that the whole child pageant realty TV thing seemed to really catch on AFTER JonBenet Ramsey's murder put it in the news. That's depressing.

I still think he somehow had a hand in his daughters death. To what capacity, I am not sure...but he knows something...

He was working 80 hours a week & traveling I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he ever saw the photos or knew what went on at the beauty pageants. His wife was the one with issues.

I think he and his late ex-wife were covering up for the son, Burke. Notice you don't hear much about him, not even a little squib in the Enquirer, that bastion of news reporting.

So the son or his friends had their way with her? Fine theory there.

It's such a freaking giveaway. Manual strangulation (or smothering) with chest compression is CALLED 'burking', after Burke of Burke & Hare fame.

It's almost surprising they didn't just name the kid Sororicide Cellarfondle Ramsey.

People have no sense.

I, too, have often thought he was covering for his son. I'm torn on if I would do the same. On one hand the boy is sick, needs help, and his sister deserves justice. On the other hand, you've already lost one kid and sending your other (and last) to jail isn't going to bring her back. Plus his wife (the horrible coont) was suffering. Ich. Tough call.

Anytime I think of that stock photo of the little Ramsey urchin, it makes me stabby. Ugh. Just flush that whole culture down the drain.

I used to think that but the DNA under her fingernails didn't match Burke or the father or the mother. Someone who knew someone in the family or was around them in an retail or work setting broke in and killed her on purpose.

He's probably thinking it's disturbing and bizarre anyone would keep such children alive. Obviously you're supposed to kill them you know!

Read Harlan Ellison's "Our Little Miss" written in 1970. He called it out for what it was 40 years ago: Hollywood-sanctioned softcore for pedophiles.

I did not know that. After the first couple of weeks of "newsflashing" every minute detail of the case, I lost interest. I do agree it had to be someone she knew and who was close to the family.

It's either he knew someone in the family or he overheard conversations--like the amount of John's bonus. He could have worked out or been employed by the same gym they used or worked at the same place as one of them. The real creepy thing is what if he had broken that window long before the night of the murder and was sleeping there, listening to them talk about John's bonus, etc. Doo doodle doo doo.
