All the Yankees will get fired for losing it.

I'm going to be amazed over what Beckett did for a long time. You ALWAYS think the Yankees will find a way to make trouble, somehow. They had the middle of the order up in the 9th, and they went 1-2-3. A shutout, to lose a freakin' World Series in their own stadium. Amazing.

That HR by Gonzalez in Game 4 now looms huge. Weaver, Soriano, other defensive screwups from Boone, Jeter, Pettitte... there's going to be a lot of finger pointing.

Apparently you can't just buy a World Series. If anything this really shows how remarkable the Yankees 4 Championships in 5 years were. It's damn hard to win even one championship, to win 4 in 5 years, especially with the addition of the Wild Card, is truely impressive. Still, not many things make me happier than watching George Steinbrenner's team lose. Yankee's are still a class act though. Congrats to the Marlins.

Much as I don't like the Yankees, I always liked Torre and he's a class act. Hope the hammer doesn't fall on him, he's better than Steinbrenner could ever deserve.
