Aar1012: People honestly believe that Romney will create a policy that will lower profits to oil companies gas prices?

He's loves oil - he's not as ardent a fan as some, but he has friends who own oil companies.

If Romney gets Robio as VP and ties up the spanish vote, then there will be a landslide victory for Romney.

We can finally begin the process of rebuilding this country after the disastrous previous 3 1/2 years under Obama.

1) Lower taxes.
2) Keeping the government out of my life.

You guys are going to be so pissed when Romney wins.

I knew there was a reason I had you favoited....

Please continue

besides a benign requirement that you buy health insurance (which i'm willing to bet you already do), please explain, in detail, precisely how much more government has been involved in your life under Obama. Follow that up by explaining how much more your taxes have gone up.

Because government is out of control. Since Obama took office I have been forced to have 17 abortions and I'm not even female. I have been forced to have gay sex on numerous occasions. My daughter has turned into a total slut since she learned from school that there was something called "sex". My bible and my guns have all been taken away. I no longer have the right to shoot at brown people who look at me funny and let me tell you that is just unconstitutional and violation a of my Jesus given 2nd amendment rights. My taxes HAVE gone up. I don't know how. But you sure as shiat better believe that when they said on Fox News that they might raise taxes on millionaires by 3% that I have had enough. I may be a millionaire one day. I'm working up the chain at the gas station and i need to vote in my interests.

3 years, 2 months equals 3 1/2? And they say Republicans don't care about education.

You can see the split in this country based on the responses to my previous post. On one hand, you have intelligent conservatives who are willing to learn from the masters such as myself, people who will provide the one true interpretation of Nietzsche, Hegel, Wittgenstein, Beck, Coulter, amongst others. (This will be the subject of an upcoming post I will make in a random thread, in which I combine Set Theory with Quantum Physics and FOX News User Polls in order to determine that conservative thought is the highest of all high art forms.) On the other hand, you have stupid libs, being stupid. Why are they stupid? That is a question for the stupid libs. I did not make them stupid and I did not make them libs. But this is my point: If you read into the numbers, you will find that Romney is not up 49-47, as the poll so deceptively suggests. There is something called "margin of error", and when we take the source, candidates, and state of the nation into account, Romney is likely up by 150 to 170 percentage points. Quite simply, the question is not who becomes President. The question is who defeats Obama. The one true interpretation of Nietzsche, Hegel, Wittgenstein, Beck, and Coulter has spoken. Taxbongo sucks.

CPennypacker: tenpoundsofcheese: patrick767: The president can do jack all about gas prices. .

what do you mean?
Bush was willing to have a war for oil which explains why gas prices have doubled since 0bama took office. 0bama is NOT willing to have a war for oil and has an energy secretary who thinks it would be great if gas was $8/gallon.

Really no surprise here.

Come on man who's going to bite this one?

Hey man, tenpoundsofcheese is one of the smartest conservatives on fark.com.

Aw, how cute. He thinks that Hispanics will forget the GOP's anti-immigrant policies and vote for them if the candidate's running mate is Rubio.

The exact same way women voted GOP in record numbers when Sarah Palin was on the ticket in 2008.

How do Palin's numbers look against Obama?

If we're going to get a brokered ticket, let's put the candidate most likely to win out there.

Because he is not Obama.

That is the only platform the GOP has. It has been that way for over 3 years, coincidentally when Obama took office.

It is incredibly difficult to find something the GOP is actually for, some legislation they actually want, but you can name an entire laundry list of things the GOP is against.

Also, subby, you might not want to blow your load quite yet. Obama hasn't started campaigning, when he does you might end up looking silly, jizz all over the place stuck with your dick in your hands.

Obama can shift the blame on this one by bringing out the stats that show increased energy production. I think we'll see a lot of that at the debates.

Will go something like this:

Rombot brings up gas prices, and accuses Obama of going green instead of drilling.

Obama brings out the stats showing drilling/production is up, but gas prices aren't going down. Blames big oil for screwing up price wise, and brings up green investment as a way of breaking oil's hold. Makes romney look like a fan of oil.

Romney is then forced to explain why the increased production doesn't matter, as well as defend the oil companies prices.

Obama then trollfaces.
