There was video in 1938? Was it brought from the future by that Charlie Chaplin extra who had the cell phone?

I think Curly could have taken that skinny bastard.

things that bothered me about the video:

high trousers, creepy schtick, there was nothing menacing about the 'boyfriend'... besides being tall, he had a worse physique than Larry.

things that were awesome about the video:

it was the Three Stooges.

Larry was very deceptively athletic. In fact, he was the only former professional boxer in the group.

Didn't expect to see Ric Ocasek AND Ted Knight in that.

Cool Find!

Probably because you were exposed to the imitators that followed them and thus lack an appreciation for their style and timing.

or . . .

You're just not a funny fark.

Awesome find subby. Thanks. Love the Stooges!!

An evidently "aired only once" parody from Fridays with Larry David as Larry Fine

That was sexist. She's not a "dame," she's a "skirt."

Nice pins, too.

Thanks for this, Subby. Loves me some Stooges...used to watch them on TV after school with my Dad when I was a kid.

I completely disagree. While I admit that the Three Stooges by definition lack subtlety, those sound effects were added with all the sensitivity of a Caterpillar D-9.

Nonsense.
It's estimated that people like yourself comprise 10% of the male population.

As a straight male who laughs at the Stooges' shenanigans, I find your stereotyping disappointing. Homosexual men and women are perfectly welcome to not enjoy the 3 original stooges.

However, if you are any human being that doesn't find The Three Stooges kooky hijinks funny; whether heterosexual, homosexual, transsexual, or undecided, you can be declared as such:

You are teh dum.

I win. The end.

Actually, you are in the majority. 60% of the population does not find the stooges funny. 50% are women and 10% ARE GAY.

My family used to own a riding academy in SoCal back in those days. The Stooges used to come and ride the horses. All the men in my family loved the Stooges. My mother who was a little girl at that time hated them because they were "upstaging her".

Mom used to get locked inside the barn a lot back in those days.

Will Sasso will be the best Curley ever! He will surely give a performance to remember.

/Can't wait until they remake Gilligan's Island with Adam Sandler as Gilligan and Zach Galifianakis as the skipper. Kim Kardashian would be cast as Mrs. Howell and oh I don't know maybe cast Seth Green as the professor, he could probably use the cash.

Moe: "I'm Jewish. Do you have any Jewish in you? Would you like some?"

BONK!

Larry: "Is your dad a farmer? Because you sure got some melons."

BONK!

Curley: "If I flip a coin, what are my chances of getting head? NYUK NYUK NYUK!"

George Mann, the tall character in the sketch, later went on to be the face of King Vitaman. He was 6'6'' tall and his vaudeville comedy dance partner Dewey Barto was 4'11". Barto was the father of television character actress Nancy Walker, who played Ida Morganstern, Rhoda's mother on the Mary Tyler Moore Show and it's spinoff Rhoda.

I had a girlfriend who didn't get the Three Stooges until she and I watched that old biopic of theirs. When the movie reached the part where the two biatches started beating up poor drunk Babe (Curly), my girlfriend started bawling and sat in my lap, saying that she now "got" the Three Stooges.

I should've married that one.

Normally, it'd be a YouTube link, but all "official' SNL clips are Hulu-based, and this is through DailyMotion. The only clear clip I could find. Sorry about that.

My dad was born in 1935 and would have been a toddler on the beach. He's only 76. There may still be a centenarian or two that could have been there as a young adult.

Thanks Subby that was awesome! I grew up watching the Stooges and imparted their gift on my girls. If they have three daughters they want to name them Flo, Shirley and Mary.
