ScouserDuck: Game in hand or not, pool may end up in 9th here. Farking hell.

can't say they don't deserve it, the way they play sometimes. hopefully will also shake ownership up into plugging the holes that have been obvious most of the year.

Bleargh. Dismal. Just dismal.

Oh well. At least I won free tickets to the DC United home opener tonight. I was going to go anyway but free shiat is good, too.

I woke up drunk and I have no Arsenal to drunkenly do pregame questions for. So I guess I'll just do it about my day.

Can I stay awake for Everton/Tottenham?
Will I gather the stones to tell someone that I have no desire to go to their birthday party today?
Will I remember if me answering the doorbell was real or dreamt?
If my roommate put a simulation of Arsenal on FIFA 12 and kept it running for a whole game, would I be able to tell a difference?
Did my roommate drink all of my beer?
Should I hair-of-the-dog it right now or in another half hour?

All this plus a rousing game of "where's my wallet" coming your way.

At this point, liverpool's only target right now is the FA cup. Liverpool could finish 15th but with 2 cups wouldn't matter in the slightest. The carling cup already put us in the Europa league and top 4 looks all but totally out of the question.

Just my two cents.

Exactly. I still think we should expect better from them in the league though.

Great to see the huge win, especially the Mario hat trick. I'm really hoping the Germans come into the Euros flying high this year.

Not to take anything off the hate, but if they had to beat anybody, it thrills me that it was Tottenham.

I don't know. IIRC cupacabra sandwich was also out this way for a while. Well, Fox Soccer isn't broadcasting MLS games anymore (though they do broadcast Concacaf Champions League games nowadays), that honor for MLS belongs to NBC and NBC Sports network (formerly known as Versus).

NBC Sports network is broadcasting tomorrow's FC Dallas vs. New Jersey Red Bulls game, while ESPN2 is broadcasting the Portland/Philadelphia game on Monday

That Real Betis/Madrid game was intense. You guys missed a good one. Great atmosphere, and the game was played at a ridiculous pace.

Betis only failed because they tried playing a fast paced back and forth game against Madrid for 90 minutes, and NO team out there can win like that. Even Barcelona have to slow it down whether it's by passing in their own half with their defenders or by diving and acting and crowding the ref to stall the game.

Yo.

Just wanna give a shoutout to my Scouse brethren. Namely Everton for beating spuds and Liverpool for...well, being Liverpool. Too bad Chelsea fired AVB. But you can't have everything.

Wolves are just about done and good to see the Villa finally beat someone decent.

Newkz on Monday and 'Man used to be shiatty' are our hardest games left.

Thanks for all of the well wishes. I really appreciate it.
My grandfather assures me however that he is not dying yet, but wanted to be ready just in case. The doctors say otherwise, but if my granddaddy says he ain't dying, he ain't dying.

I didn't know you could get internet in prison?

/What do you call a scouser in a suit
//The accused
///etc..

Not enough piss taking going on this thread.

(keep that upper lip stiff ADubs)

The moment Wolves sacked McCarthy they were going down. That was the best thing that could of happend to Bolton and Blackburn as McCarthy is the master of the relagation dog fight. Its good luck for Wolves fans the Chairman has always planned financialy for the Championship so they won't have to have a firesale or go bust. I've heard that the new stand is being paid for mostly with cash and not loans. Now Wolves could of spent that money on players but spending money on players is no garentee of not going being relagated.

It looked like the three teams to go down were Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton but now its going to be Wigan, Wolves and QPR. QPR have a hard run at the end of the season and they will not be able to get enough points to survive. The survivor from the relegation dog fight will be the ones who can put together two or three wins before the end of the season.

/NCFC for the win

2012-03-11 09:12:47 AM
11 wins for City gives them the title (with a record number of points).

11 wins for United gives them the title (with a record number of points).

It's in their own hands.

Bring it on.
