I have never and will never cheat on my wife. Whether this has to do with the fact that I love her so much, that I'm afraid of her on a physical level due to her being a second dan black belt knowing where I sleep, or that I'm a lazy fark who finds the entire idea of wooing another woman after this long out of practice completely exhausting, I'll never know.

Probably a combo of all three.

While human beings do have a social hierarchy, they don't have a dominance hierarchy per se as we would see in animals. The best way to tell a dominant personality? They don't talk about how dominant they are. It's a sign of extreme weakness and insecurity. An actually dominant person maintains dominance by successfully winning challenges to his dominance, wolves bite, sheep bleat, etc.

The most telling thing in dominance hierarchies is that real alphas do not tend to dominate the opposite-gender alpha. Alpha males dominate other males, while alpha females dominate other females. It's useless, in terms of breeding strategy and division of resources (in the animal world, typically food), to give a male the "pick of the litter"; the male is going to choose the best female by virtue of demonstrating that she is the best female, most equipped to pass on good, strong genes to their offspring.

A man who attempts to dominate women typically focus on women with extreme self-esteem issues, as he's describing. It's a pretty weak and pathetic man that feels threatened by a woman that much, and other males rightly regard them as such. It's one thing to boast about winning a fight with another man, it's sad and pathetic to boast about winning a fight with a woman. Competition is primarily about mate selection, making the most competitive and best fit to reproduce rise to the top; it is, again, intra-gender competition, not inter-gender competition. Anybody who views it as the latter and not the former is de facto not a dominant individual.

This is probably the most sexist bullshiat I've ever read, ironically directed at men. What, are all men just bundles of nerves and reactions without coherent thought?
