I'll say this: pigs are pretty damn smart. They outsmarted and cornered that dog pretty easily. Beyond a few seconds, the dog really had no chance. Shoulda ran and not listened to the owner.

That said, I really enjoyed the video.

Alright.. I'm the subby. It's true. I don't know what on earth possessed me to link this to Fark. I honestly still can't believe this was greened. I'm still sick from the first time I saw it, and that was yesterday afternoon.

The way they set upon that poor dog and ripped at his flanks without mercy... it reminded me of all that National Geographic footage of lions hunting on the Serengeti. Watching lions it's a lot easier to be dispassionate about nature. When it's someone's beloved dog and you see it outnumbered and desperately trying to evade these creatures' jaws, it's hard to stomach this kind of cruelty. What really outrages me is that whoever filming this didn't put the damn camera down and intervene to save the dog. Who could witness this and stay on the sidelines? Was this intentional?

I wish I hadn't seen this right before bed, I'm going to be creeped out by those beady, vicious little eyes for a long time. I'm going to go hug my dog now and tell him I'll keep him safe. :(

Holy hell. I never imagined seeing something like that here. You know, I consider myself pretty jaded, but even that threw me for a loop. Not just about the mods greenlighting it, but for whoever had the camera and just kept recording and recording. What kind of decent human being could just stay and watch that, then upload it for the "amusement" of others? That dog never had a chance, and was obviously in agony. WTF is wrong with people? Hey, from the size and ferocity of that dog, it was clearly a hunting dog or maybe a fighting dog. Looks to me like the owner figured it would make short work of these boars and that's why he filmed it.

What he DIDN'T plan on is that the two boars would actually co-ordinate (you can see it in the video pretty clearly). One of them harasses the dog while another rushes him from behind. Then when the poor mutt escapes for a moment, they actually stand right beside each other kind of challenging him.

Disgusting though, yeah. But like I said, that dog looked like he really knew what he was doin' at first.
