I don't see that happening any time soon.

You don't understand the stress levels in law schools like Georgetown do you? Law schools are incredibly stressful pressure cookers. Most of the people attending are stressed out, overworked, probably a little underfed, and flat broke. So what do you have left to try to blow off steam? Sex and heavy drinking. Both of which occur with great frequency at high performance law schools. If you can't hack it, you implode. If you can hack it, you end up with permanent liver damage.

Oh, Rush will continue to be around. I have no doubt about that. But I also don't doubt that this is something he'll never live down. This is going to haunt him for more than any other hateful thing he's ever said. This goes far beyond telling a black caller to "take the bone out of your nose". This was a three-day assault. He accused Sandra Fluke, repeatedly, of being over promiscuous. He called her a "slut", a "prostitue". He expressed suprise that she was able to walk to Capitol Hill what with all the sex she has had. He asked her to send him her sex tape. He attacked her over and over and over.

And he did this during an election year. Both Romney and Santorum have already come under fire by refusing to be critical of Rush. Do you think the Democrats are going to let this story die? Oh, they are going to make damn sure this is front and center for the next six months. I fully expect to even come up during the debates. And if the Republicans lose, he will be seen as part of the reason. Maybe then, the GOP will finally wash their hands of him for good.

Why should insurance companies provide birth control to these women when the it is SO much cheaper to provide them with pre and post natal care as well as several years of health care for the child? A condom is prohibitive in cost when seen like this.
