This is not a bad idea. Actually, its a good idea. People prey on the weak. Your area is a "drug" area in part because you give the drug dealers enough room to operate. Many times its because you are scared of them. I can see why you might be. But, many of those drug dealers are small business men who think similarly. They don't want to be ianywhere that's "hot". It farks the money up. And people purchasing drugs normally don't want to do it in eye and earshot of people who they assume to be anti-drug. Sit on the porch. Make yourself a visable presence in your neighborhood. Stop baricading yourself inside the house while they take over the sidewalk out front. You don't have to be a confrontational hero to make a difference.

Exactly. That's why we never leave our house, open the blinds or get to know the neighbours. It's far too dangerous and there's no hope for improvement. I wonder why that study I referred to never took those angles into account. Researchers are, like, dumb.
