Dunno why SPAM gets such a bad wrap. I ate the hell out of it as a kid and still don't mind it pan fried from time to time.

since this is fark, i was fully expecting a story about cocaine donuts. never though i would say this, but a story about Spam was actually refreshing.

I had never eaten spam in my life until about two years ago. Then someone (why yes, she was fat) fried some up for me and put it on bread with cheese. World rocked. It is now becoming a standard camping item. I survived Burning Man on fried spam sammiches.

/now i want that on a tshirt

Yes. I kind of like it straight from the can, but it's much better sliced thin and fried. Or grilled. MMmm...grilled spam.

Try this: Put bacon bits in regular doughnut dough, bake it up, let it cool and then coat it in maple syrup glaze. It's wonderful with coffee.

I grew up in Portland/Gresham. I miss Escape pizza a great deal. Nick's is the restaurant me and my dad always went to together when I lived out there. Good times. Good food.
