well, they've successfully alienated blacks, latinos and muslims -- all of whom tend to be socially conservative -- and now they're alienating women. seems like a plan. a plan to reduce themselves to a political singularity.

That's what the Republicans get for supporting Women's Suffrage in the early 1900's.

Another rant completely devoid of fact and content. And they even quote NPR. Certainly no bias there.

Does anyone else hate it when websites put stuff like "More below the fold" in their articles? What fold? This isn't a broadsheet, it's a website, there's no damn fold!

Maybe Castro can send another kid to the US for us to return? GOP got a lot of mileage out of it the last time.

Projection. Notice how he complain there are not facts, and then provides none of his own.

And interestingly enough, the article has facts:

An Associated Press-GfK poll conducted in February showed Obama's approval rating improving, and gaining with women who give him more credit than men for the strengthening economy. His support between December and February climbed 10 percentage points among women.

But those facts have a liberal bias, so it is just easier for the Modern COnservative to pretend then do not exist. Except there are a lot of facts...

A Washington Post/Pew poll released this week showed that Obama was even gaining among white women, a group he lost in 2008. In January, white women preferred Romney 50-44 percent, according to Doherty of the Pew Research Center. By February, Obama had taken the lead, with 52 percent of white women saying they preferred the president to Romney, who had fallen to 46 percent.

Pew experts were also struck, Doherty said, that Obama's lead against Romney among all women "was quite substantial, 59-38 percent."

...so I guess your tactic of just lying and hoping others wouldn't read the article was your best of several shiatty options.

To be fair, sluts voting wouldn't be a problem, if only they had a strong man in their lives, giving that life meaning and direction. A man that they could see as a shining beacon of God's Grace, a strong voice of reason to light their way to the voting booth, erasing the cares and worries of reading on issues. That is why we should pity the sluts. Not just because they will burn in Eternal Hellfire, not because their lives are devoid of grace, not because their hoo haws are pits in which sin collects and infects the world unless tamed by a Godly man with iron will and steely determination, but that their lives are devoid of any meaning without a single man to give their life meaning.

That's why, Lamar Alexander will be submitting the Women's Health Care Reform Act which will finally relieve women of these nagging woes. The Women's Health Care Reform Act will simultaneously repeal the 19th Amendment--which is the cause of much of women's woes by a build up on national hysteria--but will also apportion women to households equally, so that no woman will go without the voice of a strong man to give her life definition. Women's education will likewise be folded in this omnibus legislation, because the education that women receive today obviously causes a lot of breast cancer, and in compassion to our sisters, we must relieve them of their burdens. Allow them to return to a natural order, where they waited for orders from their fathers and brothers, or husbands. Too long, we have allowed Liberals and Communists to lead our women astray from home and hearth, and what do they have to show for it? Sky rocketing rates of breast cancer, long periods where their wombs go unfulfilled and are empty, and many, so many, damned for Eternity for questioning their fathers.

We can change that. We can change America for the better, if only you embrace us, and God's plan.

That got me thinking (I know... A woman thinking... Slut!). What if part of the Tea Party / Founding Fathers movement was to place (or return) the image of older white males in the national subconscious as the ultimate authority figures? Since the Tea Party movement was spearheaded by Fox News, it wouldn't surprise me if that was one of their major goals.

2012-03-08 09:59:00 AM
Oh please Daily Kos, get a grip on reality. In GOP strongholds, women vote the way their husbands and/or boyfriends or preachers tell them to vote. They know that all women with feminist leanings are going to vote Democrat. So they don't really care about women. Sad Sarah ran for president and was tapped for the VP slot only so that the GOP could say "See, we can have a woman candidate, too!" They want to steal the Democrat's thunder by having the first woman president. They don't really care about women.

I see it differently.

Most men want freedom. Most women want security.

Get enough men to think like women and guess what wins.
