Banana goes where?

"The only unnatural thing about me being gay is that I had a crush on Kirk Cameron until about 24 hours ago,"

Awesome.

He deserves all of it. Yes he wasn't on a soapbox preaching it (Piers Morgan asked him), but when you let your views be known to the public, don't get all pissy when it turns out the public doesn't like your views.

Mr. Cameron would, I think, be greatly pleased with himself should he ever be crucified.

I might note that his position is senseless in any case. He holds that marriage between persons of the same sex is unnatural. How can this be an objection to it unless marriage of the ordinary variety is a natural phenomenon? Yet clearly it is an artificial one created by human beings in order to define relations of kinship. Therefore it is no objection to note that it is not a natural variety of kinship such as parenthood. Mr. Cameron's error is not that he holds a foolish opinion of marriage between persons of the same sex, but that he does not understand that his opinion is irrelevant; this appears to be a defect in his constitution.

And I hope they never get tired of "crucifying" him for saying stupid, vile and hateful things.

Oh yeah, from Twitter and other pages. He's being crucified alright. He's probably also being oppressed.

Stephen Baldwin has his back!

There's an endorsement. Only the name Baldwin prevented him from becoming an assistant manager at Arbys.

Didn't Joanna Kerns come out as gay a while back? Or am I thinking of Meridith Baxter? Too many '80s sitcom MILFs to keep them straight.

Little Miss Sunshine

If you haven't seen it, the "strip tease" describe in the article is 11-year-old stripping down to a t-shirt and shorts, dancing to Superfreak for talent part of a child beauty pagent. The other parents are horrified, dispite the fact that she remains in a higher state of dress than the little girls were in the swimsuit portion, where little girls struck sexy poses in skintight swimsuits to the objection of nobody. Which of course was the point of the scene.

What I love about that article is that when Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron saw that scene, which is admittedly a bit alarming out of context, they could either...

(a) "Maybe, just maybe, there was a context to that bit. Surely an entire airline does not support pedophilia and its passengers aren't pedophiles. There's gotta be more to this story."

Or...

(b) "Delta Airlines supports pedophilia and all these passengers are pedophiles. I want to inform all their neighbors that they have a sex offender living in their midst."

Hm. Will it count if he's involuntarily outed in a rentboy/toetapping/whatnot scandal? And does he have to be out as fully-Takei, or will bisexual also count?

FTA: [H]e does seem to have one supporter in Hollywood: Stephen Baldwin. The conservative actor wrote in response to Cameron's now-infamous Piers Morgan Tonight appearance, "GREAT JOB Kirk !!! Let's pray one day Piers Morgan finds true Salvation, God Bless!"

Ouch. You know you've sunk low in Hollywood when the only person that thinks that you've done a good job is Stephen Baldwin.

Nope. His type never comes out of the closet. His type gets busted at airport restrooms then claim that they're really not gay but they have a wide stance is all.

"I think that it's detrimental, and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization."

I've heard plenty of people parrot this, or something similar, but haven't heard anyone follow through with the explanation. How? How it homosexuality destructive? Detrimental? How? How is anyone harmed because some people are homosexual?

Anyone?

You know what is destructive and detrimental? Parroting hateful ideas without placing any independent thought behind them.

It's because God will smite America due to our unholy conduct. As to why we didn't get smited over the Iraqi occupation, I have no idea, but surely not killing homosexuals will lead directly to the destruction of the United States.

Sorry, Kirk. Going after the gays will no doubt get you some sweet bookings for your one man show "Me: If Jesus and Reagan had a Baby" at the church social in Smellhound, Alabama, but it won't keep your next "movie" from only being released on masking tape.

OK. Even money says he gets outed in a rentboy/toetapping or similar scandal. 4:1 says he voluntary comes out of the closet Takei-style. Either scenario within 5 years.

Went to Hard Rock Cafe one time, but they wouldn't sit anyone because some big movie star was coming in to do some sort of promotion. 2 HOURS! And this big time movie star was Stephen Baldwin. I was tempted to punch him in the face, but he wasn't worth the effort.

From IMDB:

More physically intimate footage was shot between 'Stephen Baldwin' and 'Josh Charles', notably a kissing scene during the big "three-way", and a one-on-one sex scene that occurred after Alex moves out. Baldwin discussed these scenes being cut in print interviews when the film came out.

In the years after the film, Baldwin became a born-again Christian, a member of the Republican Party, and occasionally makes public appearances with Republican officials. He has distanced himself from the film in interviews and felt the need to state that he is not bisexual or interested in threesomes.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

There isn't a Smellhound in Alabama. There is however, a Boar Tush where I think it will do well. It might also have success in Pig Eye, Frog Eye, Lickskillet, and Slicklizard.

I watched one episode of "Way of the Master", Kirk's evangelism show, and the whole time he was driving around on a farm tractor, which had nothing to do with what he was talking about.
